Thanks craig. Autumn landscape and bacon sandwiches. Great.

The leading lines with the tracks are more than likely made from some kind of farm machinery, EG tractor or quad bike or Ranger's vehicle as well, and taking a guess you could very well be on a stretch of former road that was part of one of the villages underneath Ladybower/Derwent Reservoir.

Hi Lee, Hmmm some possibilities there, I still think it is connected with the water levels, but interesting thoughts to ponder over. Thank you for watching.

Hi Dennis, I was lucky because the reflection on the reservoir kept breaking up. Thank you for watching.

Some lovely vibrant shots there. Always drive past and head to other areas but given me a reason to stop next autumn.

Hi Paul, The list I have for autumn visits will take me years to complete. The autumnal window is just too short. Thank you for watching.

Hi Craig, in answer to the question.... the "top" layer of leaves was obviously made first and the "lower" layer after... maybe it is just due to the levels dropping... could of been over a good few days when we had zero wind and just gloom all day.... Thats my take on it... I also think you possibly missed a decent shot when you walked up the path after your "smelling bacon " but before the dam wall shot...Oh and Craig.... you really did let the side down with the bacon sarnie and cuppa especially when "negotiations " are still taking place.... lol... Nice one... really enjoyed the walk with you... kind regards... Yoki..

Hi Yoki, Yes I did miss a shot, that often happens when I set a video scene up. I will get it next year. The layers of leaves give an interesting autumnal timeline. The bacon sandwich seed was planted early in the morning leaving my resistance low. Negotiations are ongoing. Thank you for watching.

Very Nice, its changed a bit up there at the moment. Love the colours and serenity of it all. And in your defence it would have been so very rude not to support that cafe in Fairholmes car park 😇

Hi Paul, That is exactly what I told Helen when I gave her an exclusive watch of the video, without my purchase that morning, the cafe could have folded. The area has changed a lot but still has many opportunities to point the lens at. Thank you for watching.

Hi Craig I normally try to visit the area every Autumn usually towards the end as the colours in the tree's surrounding the reservoirs are stunning especially the Larch. You captured these colours wonderfully in the images you showed. There was one image where there were some power lines visible. Did you know that you can remove them in PS now (I know it's been available in Luminar Neo for a while) I think you need to use the Remove tool and select (power lines at the top of the screen) it works really well. The other option is to remove people (how I'd love to do that to some people in real life 😂) I was thinking of heading over on Sunday but after the storm that is forecast on Saturday I don't think I'll bother

Hi Paul. Yes I did toy with the idea of removing the power lines but decided to leave them in. I have just used that tool in PS and it did a great job of removing them. I would normally just use the basic removal tool, so thank you for that additional learning. I will go back to the Derwent valley next year, much more potential to capture. I might even hire a bike to get round. Thank you for watching.

Saw one of the shots was iso 1000 and 250 shutter speed. Was there movement in the trees as just about all the others were at 120 ish iso. Great colours Craig. Or maybe I missed read?

Hi Barry, The 250 shutter speed was due to the ground below being a little mushy for the tripod, so I upped the ISO to ensure that there was zero camera movement. Thank you for watching.
