!!!! I am confuse over one thing, should be involve transportation charge in calculation of material cost per unit or not

Yes transportation / carriage inward/ freight charges should be included in the material cost per unit

Is cost of purchase(lower of cost) same as purchases(credit purchase+ cash purchase)?

In totality, yes it is, and also cost of purchase = Cash purchase + credit purchase - purchase returns
