I rediscovered UH recently after many years, and I cannot believe they didn't get the respect they deserved - they were easily one of the best!

Has anybody wondered about the Uriah Heep Abominog album cover what it was based on?
Has anybody seen the film the classic 1957 horror film "Night of the Demon"
It's almost an identical image of the face of the demon in the film.

UH was reborn with this album. Still a favourite after all these years
On The Rebound and Think It Over are probably my favorite tracks in this album.
Has anyone noticed the album cover creature on abominog looks surprisingly like the thing in the crate from Stephen King's creepshow 🤔 I love Uriah Heep thanks for sharing 👍☮️
When i was 15 in 82 this lp came out
And supposedly the band rumored that if you stand in a dark bathroom mirror with a lighter or candle under your chin and stare into your face and focus should you see this image than youre an evil person

So says a Sabbath fan since 71 Priest fan since 78 Saxon since 80.
Grossly underrated bands. This album is sinfully underrated, amongst many of their others.

Em meados dos anos 80, eu tinha um colega, o Cebola, que era um fã de Heavy Metal, porém, daquela ala mais radical, pendendo mais para o DEATH e o BLACK METAL.
Um belo dia eu perguntei se ele conhecia o URIAH HEEP(eu era o menos radical da turminha...) e ele respondeu desse jeito: "ah, sim...conheço...a gente olha a capa e acha legal...vai ouvir o som...uma bosta!" É claro que ele estava referindo-se a esse aí, o ABOMINOG! Ele pensou que era BLACK METAL por causa da capa do disco, que, na época, só tinha em vinil, o bolachão!
Eu sempre gostei. Ainda gosto.
