Okay here I go again, found reference to doing the change and mention of items sourced from Amazon but itwould be good to know if your soldering of the original connectors has had any adverse effect on the canbus as I'm told even the wron solder can give issues. Cheers Harry
Hi Harry, no issues that I can tell thus far. I will say this though, the cheap LED lights I got from Amazon aren’t bright enough. I found some that were spec’d brighter, but never ordered them to try them out. Therefore, if you’re gonna do this mod, I would consider brighter lights, but that might cause other issues with fitment and electricals. I was more concerned with the size and look than the functionality. However, in my defense, my thought process was that I really don’t think I should rely on my “front” turn signals to indicate to on coming traffic I’m about to turn, so their effectiveness was secondary to the overall look. Good luck my friend.
New subscriber. 98% sure I'm getting the Tuareg as my retirement present to myself. I've a Super Tenere with SW Motech bits on it and I'm liking their products for the 660. Thanks for the reviews and thoughts.
are you changing to the Tuareg? or keeping both, they seem to be very similar, check out OntheBackWheel channel hes been giving it a good offroad test lately
@@glenns001 My SUPER Tenere is the 1200cc and 150# heavier than the Tuareg. I'm wanting the 660 for the lighter weight and technology. I'll probably keep the big Tenere for long pavement trips.
Well I was trying to decide what you'd done with the indicators then as you turned for home I saw you'd relocated them to the little useless design feature much better. I'll look at doing that but must check vehicle spec for indicator distance apart still great move.
Hi, did you do a video of changing the indicators as i can't find one also I guess you used some different units so did they affect the canbus system? That positioning is realy what Aprilia should have done from the outset much more asthetically pleasing.

Good for you, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
That's pretty much the same thing I'm fixing to do. I have a '17 Super Tenere ES and the Tuareg is fixing to be my retirement present. 😂
@@atvtinker01 Funny thing, the older I get, the more I like lighter bikes.
