I don't know if my beads are too round, but I am having so much trouble learning this! I do find your explanation & close up filming the best of all the ones I've watched though.
Lovely Video, very clear. I have a question about tension. I have been creating earrings with about 18-20 beads across the widest row. They come out lovely, but I notice after I have been wearing them they tend to bend inward - kind "cup". I use strong tension and 10lb fireline and they will still "cup" - any suggestions? or is that just what wide brick stitch is going to do - thanks so much!
Thanks! As I've said in the description, I'm going to make a tutorial on the bow once I hit 2500 subscribers :) Share the video if you enjoyed it to get me to that landmark faster!
You're most welcome! I actually have a tutorial on making a star using a different technique to the one used here. I'll have one making a heart soon :D DIY: Beaded Star ¦ The Corner of Craft
Thank you so much for this great video. I tried my first project today and it involved a lot of improvisation LOL Should have watched this first. Going to try again tomorrow by doing it the proper way :) Thanks again!
Hello! Honestly, I never measure it. You want the length to be a comfortable length for you to work with. If you need to attach more, weave through your beadwork and just pick up from where you left off! x
Hey Hannah! I am confused can you please tell me whether you use a special thread or is it just a plain one. Also, can you please please make a yin yang sign with this method!
I would like to know is how to read it and how to graph it out. I can follow a video. I purchased a pattern...not much one. Thanks in advanced for you help
hello again, sorry for so many questions, but would it be possible with this stitch to make a tubular bead? thanks so much. sincerely Becky B from Arkansas
+Becky B Peyote would be better suited due to its flexibility and how well it can "zip" together, giving a seamless appearance. Unless you want to do tubular brick stitch :) x
would it be possible for you to do a breast cancer awareness ribbon in the brick stitch pattern? I am a two year survivor!!!! yes!!!!! I we could love to make them in all sizes! thank you in advance!!!
WOOW…love …very useful ..patiente …you make it look

This is a fantastic tutorial. You make it seem so easy. I am really enjoying brick stitch now, until your tutorial, I couldn't get it right at all! :)

Thanks you very much for this tutorial which is really clear!
great video. wish I had got into this ages ago. not sure I've got the eyes for it! xx
+danni 81 You can use larger perler/Hama beads and thicker thread to make larger things like coasters!
I'm definitely going to have a go! I'm obsessed with your cutie little ones though! Coasters good idea! Thanks xxx

+Malcolm Fisher This isn't something I have expertise in, but I imagine the pressure of how the earrings hang may cause the piece to bow slightly x
thank you so much I've tried numerous videos and they're so complicated. However, yours hss been the best thank you thank you thank you!!!
You're so welcome ☺️
Wow so cool plz make video on the bow
Thanks! As I've said in the description, I'm going to make a tutorial on the bow once I hit 2500 subscribers :) Share the video if you enjoyed it to get me to that landmark faster!

Great tutorial. Thank you for teaching me how to do this stitch.
Awesome! I really liked the cute skull.
hi thanks so much this is a very good video :) how much thread do you need for your designs approximately?
this was so easy to follow and understand. thank you!!!
omg you're a lifesaver, I had problems learning this technique but now I finally understand, thank you so much!
You're welcome! I'm so pleased you managed to master it ☺️ x
When you are making a new pattern how do you decide whether you are going to use brick stitch or square stitch?
It often just depends on my mood to be honest!! x
How many millimetres is the string? And how to you know how many millimetres you need with each bead and project?

+Adan Amjad The thread I use is beading thread which is stronger than regular thread x
I finally got it thanks
Yay!! x
I would like to know is how to read it and how to graph it out. I can follow a video. I purchased a pattern...not much one. Thanks in advanced for you help
My beads wont allign. Im using delica beads like you but thinner nylon thread. Could that be the reason?
Thank you so much
thank you very much!!!!!😙
could you make a small flower tutorial?
Where do you find the patterns for the different designs?
This is so well explained! I loved working with beads when I was a child, I used to do 3d animals :)
Thanks! I really appreciate your feedback :) I'm glad you found the tutorial clear! I'm new to 3D animals, but it's fun having an experiment!
What size thread do you use?

Does glass seed bead work?
hi where do you order your beads from? Are they glass?
They are glass. I order my beads from mailorder-beads.co.uk or beadstampede.co.uk Although they are UK based, they ship internationally ☺️
Cool thanks
It helped me learn. I am making amauti earrings.
Just wondering if your short thread. How would you add to it.
I managed to add like peyote stitch. And weave back to where i am.
your video is awesome

Could you be able to make a penguin out of these beads?
I'm sure it's possible! I'll get working on a pattern and post something in a few weeks if I like it enough :)
Good news! I've come up with a pattern 🐧 I'll make a video for it in the new year!
Can I use perler beads
You can as they're the same cylindrical shape! It'll just be bigger 😊
The Corner of Craft so if you can do this in perler beads was wondering could you take a perler bead pattern and do it in delica beads ? x
scousey You can indeed! You will have to use Square Stitch for that though (which I also have a tutorial for ;) ) x
oh not brave enough to try them myself I was just curious will wait for the next tutorial have used the square stitch one to practice x
It's so hard 😭
can you do letters?
There are plenty of peyote patterns for letters out there that can be used for brick stitch too :) x

Hello! Check out my Bead Weaving playlist. I believe I have a video there x
Je débute en mode tissage☺, c'est dommage que les tutoriels soient en accélérés.
