Which series was better, this Rogue vs Dark or the previous Rogue vs Dark? Both were amazing masterclasses of ZvZ, it's so exciting seeing SC2 at suuuch an evolved level of play these days! Both players were making insane decisions, and playing so clean. I'm really glad that we have as good casters as Tastosis to be able to shed light on some of the strategic thinking going on. Also I thought it was so cool how back and forth that last game was especially, since in SC2 it's felt like there is almost never a successful comeback. I thought at some points that Rogue or Dark may have thrown it, but somehow they held on and through some decisions they were able to regain the upper hand. The action see sawing a few times until finally Rogue broke Dark at the end, it was so thrilling.
Dark has abilities that are #1 Zerg in the world. But I believe Dark when he said he was tired, as the commentator suggested he may be, as the initial question. So... This is definitely undecided on who is better between the two. Last season, both players were feeling good before the match... I wonder if Dark was 100%, would this have been another 3-2 Dark? My money is yes. First reason, Dark has GODLY defense. Second reason - Artosis put it so elegantly, in the moment, raw energy... right after those 2 hero banelings hit "he has FIGHTING SPIRIT". Imagine if he was fully rested and roaring to go game 1 and 2?
Rogue doesn't usually show any emotion he's like a cyborg but when he won he looked so relieved. This game is so mentally draining and you could see how spent rogue was when he won.

Also, dont forget our casting archon does not have its own observer and needs to watch from a tiny ass screen. And already they hands down beat most of the other casters of Dreamhack. If I were beaten against people with such big handicaps then i would really question if I should be a caster at all. Just shows how big the delusion and lack of self reflection is of those C tier casters
I would still prefer pros casting. Lambo is in my opinion the best caster, Harstem could be up there but he is bit to goofy for GSL. the problem is dreamhack is mostly just get 2 casters and put them together. Tastosis on the other hand has good chemistry that goes way back

Tastosis are genius. You shouldn't compare them. Other casters are also good. I think SC2 has good casters overall.
