    Thank you so very much for this video!
    Please tell me if I have properly captured your English translation of the blessing on the Christian Tallit.
    "Bless You God, Our God, the God of the Word that Fulfills Everything From the Torah in Jesus Christ. He Covers us with His Judgment."
    I just received a Christian Tallit, and it is very important to me that I capture the blessing exactly as its written. Thank you in advance for your correction of any mistakes I've made. You have my heartfelt prayers for God's blessings upon your life and the lives of your family.

      I am still confused which one is the christian tallit? The first one or the second one?

    • @Julie-fh6oh
      @Julie-fh6oh Год назад +1

      @@thejaspermark The last one the guide translated was the Christian one. The woman was holding it. The Christian ones always have a Menorah, Christian Fish, and star of David sign. Those three symbols touch, but I don't remember in what order. You will find the symbol in the decorative area near the top border where it goes over your shoulder or head.
      This is the blessing for the Christian prayer shawl, and is as follows...
      "Bless You God, Our God, the God of the Word that Fulfills Everything From the Torah in Jesus Christ. He Covers us with His Judgment."
      I hope this helps.

    I am christian, but I own the one on the right because my friend at church who went to Jerusalem, got that one. I'm not sure if I should pray with it or not, but it's really cool and I like to look at it once in a blue moon, because it's little piece of Israel that I have.

      In 1 Corinthians 11:7 it states “A man should not cover his head, because he is the image and glory of God. So too, woman is the glory of man.” And earlier in 1 Corinthians 11:4 it states “Every man who prays or prophesies with something on his head dishonors his head.” Hope this helps, God bless!

      @@theburlyburrito 1 cor 11:14-15 Does not nature itself teach you that if a man wears long hair it is a DISGRACE for him, 15 but if a woman has long hair, it is her glory? For her hair is given to her for a COVERING.
      What’s wrong with having long hair? What about the nazarite vow? isn’t it require men to have his hair not cut? Resulting to long hair? But you see the CONTEXT of it is not about the nazarite vow nor having it long just like the nazarite vow BUT the rampant SEXUAL IMMORALITY in Corinth where men dressed as women (with veil/ have long hair) to be distinguished as female, paul warned them also prior to this chapter in the same book in chapter 6 verse 18!
