Great video John, sounds great and i'm sure will perform great out on the road too. Great work John looking forward to some video's of you out on the road and hearing that sweet bonneville sound !. Cheers, Jeff.
Magical John! What a sweet sounding bonnie.Hope you do a video of your first few rides and how she pulls through those hills and dales. Incidentally, how many miles to run her in? Take care.
Hi Steve :-) thank you, camera is charging for the big day. I plan around 2-300 @ 3500 rpm then a couple o hundred @ about 4-4500 rpm after that I'll ride as normal.
Bingo! Made up for you mate!!! Ahhh she sings once more, didn't sound like there'd be anything more than a smidge on the timing either. Bloody brilliant, rebore done and she'll run as sweet as a nut, you wait and see. Time to get some decent fuel through those amals eh?
are you going to pull youur side panels and clearance them for your bell mouths? (we call em velocity stacks in the US) Do you cross your fuel lines to the opposite side of the tank? Like the right side carb's line to the left side and vice versa? My dad does for some reason.. kind of makes a big C.F. of lines to navigate.
Hi Otis :-) I will be sorting my panels out, silicon and a hammer should do the trick. Yes I do cross my lines over, it keeps them out of the way and they look neater than looping around the outside.
Time to go for a ride. Great idea. Think I'll do that myself.
Congratulations on another successful rebuild.
Hi Alberto :-)
thank you, video is up now she runs great and pulls well can't wait till it's run in.
Did you get for your ride?
