  • I’ve noticed so many positive changes to my natural hair since blow drying instead of air drying. To see results, you have to try new things until it all works out.

    Blow drying has changed the game for me. The natural hair community had me afraid of heat damage. I’m careful with the heat and my hair is flourishing. I blow dry and do a twist out with mousse

      If it works, stick with it. I know a lot of people whose hair thrives better with blow drying

    Me too!! 4 years natural, and I finally decided to embrace heat, and it's so much better. The manageability and ease when installing a protective style is my favourite thing.
    The only thing I don't like is how dry the heat protectant leaves my hair, I still have to moisturise afterwards.

    I have experienced the same! So glad the single strand knots are gone. I am blow dry every week after a good wash and deep conditioning

    Yup I started blowing drying over a year ago with that same dryer and I don't have to take forever to detangle anymore. It makes things so much easier AND I get a sigh of relief when my hair shrinks and naps right back up to its 4C glory 🙌 because I was scared I was gonna get heat damage. I hope to own the revair reverse air dryer one day but it's so expensive.

    So basically it's not about blow drying, it's about keeping the hair stretch so that it doesn't form nots.

    • @lanadeux4120
      @lanadeux4120 11 месяцев назад +5

      I actually find that stretching my hair is not enough. It’s the heat that makes my hair softer. Heatless stretching can definitely be beneficial for some people but I think heat is good for others!
