Love you too! Can’t wait to hear all the stories when you get home. Thank you for taking us along on this journey with you!
What a beautiful morning!!
For me, the walk from Foncebadon to Ponferrada was the hardest as well. So much rocky and treacherous terrain. By the time I got to Molinaseca my arthritic hips were almost seized...rested and walked to Ponferrada. Your videos are making me relive such beautiful views, vistas, memories and feelings. Thank you so much for taking the time to post.
Makes me happy to hear that they are bringing you joy
Wow.. I’ve haven’t been to the Camino yet but every time I see someone who’s journey I follow through their videos arriving at Cruz de Ferro and leaving a stone I get so emotional too. It must be magical , there seems to be a great force on that stage of the Camino. It’s like something calls me to go there. My goal is to do the Camino in 2025. Thank you Claudia for sharing your Camino. Beatriz , from San Francisco, California.
I can't explain it ... I get goose bumps thinking about the Cruz de Ferro. That moment was so magical for me.
Woooo I’m emotional with you telling us about your thanksgiving wishes for your loved ones ❤❤❤
Not usually like me, but at that moment with the sun rise and seeing Cruz de Ferro I was just so overcome with emotions.
Cruz de Ferro is very special place to me. My kids posted a picture of my late wife there since I cannot walk up to the cross due to traumatic injuries to my entire right side (leg, hips, and arm, and neck). Job well-done. Buen Camino.
Thank you 😊. It was truly a highly of my Camino.
It is amazing how much the base of Cruz de Ferro changes each year. Great video of you leaving your stone! great job getting down the mountain to Molinaseca! did you visit the castle? you will have a great day tomorrow walking enjoy Villafranca and you have O'Cebreiro in your sights...
I SO wanted to visit the castle, but it's closed Mondays 😞 and I couldn't wait for it to open this morning. I'm in Trabadelo tonight, wanted a shorter walk to o'cebreiro tomorrow
Thank you for sharing!✌️❤️
My pleasure 😊
PS...the river when you cross the bridge to Molinaseca was so deep and full this spring you could have swam in it. To see it all dried up like that shows me how much draught conditions are currently in Spain and Europe as a whole.
WOW! I only had 2 days of rain since starting on the 12th of September
We stayed at Molinaseca so Ponferrada was a mid-morning visit. Lucky for us, on a Wednesday, the castle had free admission. Loved it! This was the hardest day as well for my wife and daughter - they did not care for the "downness" of it all, or the footing. I can't imagine walking it in the rain - it would be terrifying. Any issues with bedbugs?? Happy Thanksgiving!
Bedbugs? Europa isn't Amerika or Australia. 😂
Molinaseca was so cute. I would definitely stay there. Yes agree in the rain that would be terrifing for me. I have been so lucky with the weather. I have had no issues with bedbugs, and I've only heard of one incident second hand, so can't confirm.
@@davidgutesleben1266 not sure is you saw the news ... Paris is overrun with bedbugs and there are always incidents of bedbugs on the Camino

Hey Claudia, you Watson said you had to buy your walking sticks when you got there as they couldn't go in carry-on. How much were they? We just bought 2 pairs for our trip but weren't planning on checking a bag 😢
Yep. I got mine at the pilgrims store and they had a variety of prices. You could always just check the poles, some people do that.
@mywanderlustcamino thanks. I didn't add a checked bag when I booked the trip. Trying to travel light. Checking the price to add it now, versus buying some when we get there.
