It is a distinct musical and intellectual pleasure to walk a bass line in the left hand while playing a melody in the right hand. Not only do you have to keep time and sync up the feel of the right hand with the left (as if they were two instruments), but you have to think about how to connect the chord changes via a single melodic bass line - all while playing the melody! Fun!!!
"A Sunday Kind of Love" by Barbara Belle, Anita Leonard, Stan Rhodes, and Louis Prima (1946).

It is nice to see soemone as accomplished as you still feeling and enjoying every note you play.
Great playing, and smooth as butter!
Smooth!
Mannn you’ve really gotta be GROOVIN to make something so simple sound so good!! Fantastic playing! Loved it!
Thanks so much! The groove is where it's at!!
Soothing! thanks!
I can hear the brushes on the snare. Thank you for sharing your gift with us
may i ask, what are you using to record the audio of the piano?
I record the piano with 2 DPA2011 mics.
is it cool if I asked for the left hand chord progression? I recently got back to playing piano after stopping for almost 8 years. I played classical stuff back then but now I'm interested in trying jazzy things like this!
Hi! I would have to take a listen to remember what I did... but meanwhile you can check out the jazz standard "Sunday Kind of Love" - that's the song I'm playing. I did it in F and there are some passing chords in there ;)
@@kait_dunton thank you so much for the recommendation! ♥
