About the lore (it's unfinished but a vague lore exist):
This entity who chosed to look like Sonic got created after booting the game each time causing it to rewrite itself and playing it a different way. The entity become more self aware as the game progress lurking into the victim's mind with the intention to capture our souls in his special coded hell.
Which fit the mod because you have two songs, the two songs look alike but are different and the entity in the first song become a little more aware and play with Boyfriend being God while on the second song he doesn't care about Boyfriend and want us the player, changing the whole game being way more self aware.
I love it and I would love it even more if the next update he will start to act like a malware, I love this kind of FNF mods.
I really love this take on an EXE, it feels unique and awesome, plus it has a Disbelief Papyrus reference.
I actually really like this exe it's really interesting. AND YEAH I KNEW THAT LAST BIG WAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH UNDERTALE

Man, this mod is awesome. Especially in that part where he started stomping and the fact that everyone has their own take in it.
My take is that Rewrite had enough of you winning and started stomping in anger, only to realize after stomping a few times that he could manipulate his stomping animation to move around and get closer to Bf(who the player is controlling). See how he looks at you for a moment in glee as he discovers this.
Fun fact: when rewrite stomps he is trying to tell you that he can move out of his own sprite where he is supposed to be at but not like other dudes.

The part you recognized is basically part of interstellar retribution that is used for the transition from phase 1 to phase 2 in disbelief or less popularly known as part of the rock candy album
To explain Rewrite is a funny one
He's essentially one of the results of several rewrites of the Original Sonic.Exe. After all the rewrites, he was made which is where he gets the name "Rewrite".
Because of the fact he came from rewritten Sonic.Exe, he's far more self aware than many others, but also way more Egocentric.
He is literally GOD (or Proclaims himself as God) by standards and is Self Aware about his Position, you as the Player and BF's Powers to come back from death.
When he said "This Cliche Never Dies"
He's saying that *Even though I am an Sonic.exe, I won't be the last in this community*
Because the community constantly pumps out new Sonic.exe variants on the daily. *Rewrite is speaking the Truth. It's a Cliche Now*
He is fully aware you exist and notes he's after YOU, not the Player. Another thing to note is that this is the one character BF isn't really safe from
He fully shows he's powerful by breaking the Boundaries of the game. Now there are 2 speculations toward how
1. Rewrite is that built different. He's just so powerful he can break the boundaries of the game unlike others. Sonic.Exe nor Lord X isn't aware of BF time like abilities (In the original Sonic.Exe Mod)
2. He's stomping to go with the beat. Because of this, the game doesn't see it as Cheating or Breaking because he's going IN BEAT WITH the Music. It's the start up to the Hard section basically. This allows Rewrite to bypass the barrier without difficulty and essentially walk towards BF.
Either way this is showing Rewrites level of Power. Rewrite is most likely doing the 1st explanation as to how he did it.
He's really a powerful being.

Rewrite takes place after many replays of the original exe game and its different iterations, everytime the game is booted, it rewrites itself to play a different way, and even adapt to the player's mind. The entity who disguises itself as Sonic gets more self-aware as the game progresses, slowly lurking into its victim's mind with the intention to capture its soul to their coded special hell.
All of the other Sonics that appear are well executed illusions that Rewrite created with his mimic ability, and all of them are him in disguise. However, Rewrite can still simulate the personalities and mannerisms of the three, including their abilities (making Rewrite almost invincible to common Sonic characters with the power of two .EXEs), and if Rewrite wanted to he could simulate any other character without being noticeable. The trinity itself refers to The Father (Sonic.EXE), The Son (Lord X) and The Holy Spirit (Majin/Mazin Sonic). They also are the first three opponents that were present in Vs. Sonic.Exe V1. After Rewrite touches Boyfriend, he dies, and this is the reason why his voice that sings after this scene is higher pitched or with a certain echo. The rings in Rewrite's wrists and right leg represents the souls of his three past victims (players).

for recording the gameplay I use obs. For recording camera footage I use Elgato 4k capture. and I use adobe premier pro for editing! hope this helps

Basically the lore to vs rewrite is easy to explain, when u fight rewrite in the first week and he says I AM GOD, it means that he’s all of the Exe, except lord x, he is trying to tell u he is Majin and sonic.Exe COMBINED, so that’s why that Majin sonic and Exe are combined.
I believe Rewrite actually uses Sonic.EXE, Majin, and Lord X as puppets similarly to how Sonic.EXE would use the souls of Tails, Knuckles, and Eggman
