Adds up for a dairy farm too, its one machine that can be poorly maintained for two machines, meaning that it may be properly cared for…
Mucker. That's got to be a winner. Another well-presented and filmed video , well done
Cheers Ken 👌🏼
Absolutely brilliant - how could a farmer manage without one? Superb machine!!
I remember our farm having a demo of a Merlo in 1985/6 with a view to replace a vertical mast Manitue, Forklift. What a brilliant machine it has become, a very well presented video Mucker😊
They are some good piece of kit, Olly Harrison has three Merlos and swears by them. One of those would have been great 30 years ago when I helped on a dairy farm for feeding, buck raking, fertiliser carting/spreading and much more. A Great video to show how versatile it is 👍
What a fantastic machine. Thanks for showing us. 👍
Hi Kurt Nice one the Multifarmer is one of those handy looking machines good seeing it working Thanks again have a good week
Good machine by the looks of it. The cab suspension I would say is brilliant. 👍
Please keep the great videos coming friend from Scotland 😊
Hello Mucka, this is a tidy piece of kit. 👍👍🇬🇧
nothing like having a versatile piece of kit around the place. great video .
Great review Kurt and Puppo, very nice machine indeed💯👌👍🙏😎
Lovely bit of kit M'lod, that cab suspension looks really comfy.
Versatile machine with the linkage on the back!
Keep it up!
Cheers, Mike
Makes good sense it looks a strong versatile machine. Great review.
Looks very smart too, If I had one I'd drive it to church on Sundays.
Great insight into the Multifarmer!
The first model i found in the Grass Demonstration Stole the show with a Mower and a Forage harvester and was unbelievable, all of the big Machines were nothing compared to the Demonstration one of these Did 😊👍
Well worth the wait mucker cracking review 👌🏻
What a great video as ever , thought it starting as a double whammy for us viewers , to start with we would be over to the dragline crane in the background !!!! Then onto this merlo , my , my have these things improved drastically, the old ones albeit a straight tele-handler were not so good & basic . Now looks lie a terrific versatile machine has evolved, very handy machine, can see it venturing into many sectors of work 😊😊😊👍👍👍
Awesome video thanks for your time and consideration very informative 🚜🚜🚜 😊
A useful bit of kit, useful for many tasks. Great video 😊, do well 👌🏽 👌🏽
Excellent review, great piece of kit!
Great video Lm it’s a very handy machine great to see it with the plough
Looks like a bloody handy bit of kit!!
Wow what a machine well documented mucker that bucket is huge
Deadly video. That is a brilliant bit of kit 👍
Looks fun too
Awesome video as always but as you said let's people see you think out of the box and give food for thought 👍 what a great machine 👍👍
Good machine for a small family operation, there is so much money in implements without having 2 or 3 tractors.
That's some useful bit of kit Mucka with tons of potential. As you say it could save someone thousands of pounds.
Great video as always.Well multifarmer looks like you put forward some very good points as to capability and drastic savings.
Always had merlos absolutely love them.
Excellent informative video about a somewhat unique machine. cab suspension most impressive.
💚 Cracking little machine 💚
Even if you view the 3 point link on the multifarmer as a backup for your main tractor if it breaks down/waiting for parts ect.
It might well be far from the optimum machine for the job, but at least you COULD get out in the field and do some work and save you the cost of hiring another tractor in short term.
I have no issue with these 'swiss army knife' type machines, they have their place. As long as no ones claiming 'this will replace a tractor' its all good.
Actually thinking about it, merlo could replace a tractor in some industrial/grounds care applications.
Great entertainment, that Merlo is a fantastic machine.
Nice vidio Mucker plus nice piece of kit keep um coming.👍🚜😊
That's just flash . Keep smiling everyone
Looks like a very capable machine and very versatile lots of farmers have been conned to think they have to have the latest and greatest tractors which ads a lot more to your debt and the cows won't give any more milk
That thing is cool, and precisely that out of the box thinking. More people need to start doing just that (( thinking )) 👍😀
Excellent review thank you 😊
Very good video. All the best from Henry Central UK
Great bit of kit looks like fits in well to modern farming probably quite handy if there was a field fire and all other tractors are occupied could put set of discs on to make breaks in the crop great video 👍🏻
I love the merlo such a good tele handler but even better now
Thanks Kurt excellent vid sir.. Take care....
Cheers Kev 👍
I could imagine it being very useful for a hay and straw contractor to
all they need now is an attachment for the loader for hedgecutting be a good all rounder
Very informative video 💯👌🍶
There is that Cheshire cat grin we all used to hell of a thing that cab suspension tho 👍
Very good video 👌🏼 well presented and edited. Been looking forward to this video. Absolutely brilliant machine! 👍🏼
Glad you enjoyed it!
What a fantastic machine 😍 what really impressed me was the way it handled that 4 furrow on those crossover type tyres 👌 cab suspension looked amazing as well 🤔👍
Always fancied one of these just need to be able to afford one
Smart bit of kit that! Looks like some nice land for ploughing Kurt wish ours was like that!
In a pinch it would run a straw chopper, slurry pump etc if the tractor broke down on say a dairy farm
Fantastic piece of kit. I think a lot of stock farms will go down this road. The versatile/ Ford bi-directional didn’t quite take off here , which was a similar concept but this is Bob on 👌🏻
Just a simple question, please don’t punch me lol, would some people not be tempted to put a weight block on the rear linkage, so it could be more balanced on its loading capability, or, does it have a safety cut out to stop this occurring?
That would be extremely irresponsible I can't possibly comment and would never do such a thing.
Maybe... 😉
@@LordMuck 🤣🤣🤣 atta boy. Hope ya well pal?
Great vid kurt , great bit of kit can see it beening used on workshop days in substitute of a tractor as you can lift kit and repair then put the repaired kit on the the 3piont linkage to test .
Great video LOVED it😊
Good to see you back. How are the dogs
Doing well
I'm sold! Now if I could only get the Mrs. to let me buy a little hobby farm I'd be all set!!!
These are decent enough, fine for a bit of topping pulling a roller etc.
Very interesting machine, like you say can deffo see a place for it and am surprosed they have never taken off more - cost maybe an issue??
Great vid as always 👌
Brilliant detailed video mucker
I must say Mucker the Merlo MF , is a great bit of kit . Another great review Mucker 🚜👍🔧
Watching you lower and crowd into a heap tells me you’ve been on bigger shovels in the past mucka😉
Nice yoke as they say.👌
The odd one or two...😉
I know a guy on a hill farm with one and he puts an extra set of forks on the 3 point so he doesent have to tow around a trailer and making everything safer for his operation
Very nice!!! 😎
Looks like the farmer's modern version of the swiss army knife.👍
Nice review on the merlo 👍. Funny enough mr H-S ag mentioned a multifarmer to me for my unconventional system and to be fair, it’d most likely work well
Good as you said it's a telehandler. The buyer will probably have some 3pt attachment in mind that maybe is used around the farm centre. In a field a regular tractor with lower weight wins with lower soil compaction and fuel economy BUT I think it's a backup plan that can really save the farmer. Some field tractor breaks down on Friday evening (as they usually do). And of course bad weather is coming in. Then the compaction and fuel cost can be secondary to not getting the work done. Just hooking it up with the field implement and go is faster than calling around to get to loan some tractor and get it to the farm.
Vice versa, have one tractor with a FEL that maybe not get do much use and even have the FEL parked - but in the pinch it might to some of the telehandler's work.
Very informative I'm looking at the MF44.9 to buy very interesting to see what it is capable of doing
Looks like a nice piece of equipment. I have not seen any of those in the USA, yet. Is the MultiFarmer owned by another company or stand alone company. Thanks for sharing this awesome toy. Thanks for the videos, sir.
Merlo is a Family owned company in Italy
All I can say about Merlo , is that the one we have is 23 years old, cracked block because it didn’t have antifreeze !
Fuel filters are constantly filling with debris.
Now 2 wheel drive not 4
Never washed.
Oh , and no brakes
But it always starts, does a days work and never really misses a beat, given the above issues.
What a treat 👌🏼
Sounds like the next buy for the fud weasel. 😂
You're not a dairy farmer by any chance are you?🤔
Oh i forgot if there is model heavy enough i always thought a big telehandler would work with a hay squeeze out west.
i have 2,amazing dont need anything else
Good video, I've always like the Merlo, I think they are underestimated on there ability to do the job by a lot of people.
Respectable piece of kit.
Great video. looks a handy machine. It would be fun to take it to a ploughing match
They are a great bit of kit. Have used a multi farmer for timber work. Grab on the front and a wood processor on the rear. Just drop off the grab and bucket ready to load. Yes some merlo things are strange but they do make a decent machine
Great video 👌
Great demo👍🏻. If i was a farmer & not a plumber id be interested 👍🏻
Great video , great demonstration. Enjoyed watching. 👍🏼👍🏼
Id love to see one of these pulling a big fusion 4 baler down the road, would be some sight
What a brilliant piece of kit. What will they think of next?
Interesting stuff.
I agree the suspension on mine is non existant., however the machine does almost anything. (lamp changes, man cage does guttering or getting at overgrown hedges etc. etc.)
Next thing I got to do is try to get the BBC in Texas cause I think the Mucker is heading towards the big time with a video like that! Nicely done!
Just keep watching the channel here on RUclips - I certainly won't go on BBC !
Hi mucker as allways another great video . But and heres the but weve had a merlo for 7yrs and from day one its been constant oil leaks and breakdowns .worst being main ram going and hydro pump it constantly leaks around the gearbox even though its had 2 new seals . And as for the cab suspension when it goes wrong it breaks your back feels like the ram under the cab is coming up through the seat . I wouldnt have one as a hift
It's 7 years old - this is new so you'd like to think they've ironed out the issues
They have there problems but where a used to work has 20 merlo and all the older ones are getting on for the 20 thousand hour mark and are still getting worked hard as ever and there some right rough fuckers driving them 😂 a lot of people hate them but a think there fairly decent machines
Nice!
Is see it a second tractor. Or replaces the tractor and loader set up you might have. It's not your main tractor but a machine that can lift but also do field work if needed. Neat machine
Thats about the size of it
Bello vedere che in Italia si riesce ancora a realizzare qualcosa di valido e che può veramente aiutare nel lavoro.. brava Merlo
I like a Merlo - I've got a mate who runs one for various odd jobs, he has also used it as a towing unit for trailers. Bit of a Multi-tool, but the 3pt for heavy work (ploughing) is a non-starter.
Why's it a non-starter ?
I think he has got so used to having big VALTRA's, with extra HP - he upscaled his ploughs. Smaller plough would do it, but not sure what it was TF38 or something. Otherwise I agree with you, useful.
We did some Sillage work, and the Merlo was great for tedding, I ran the Baler in my AGROTRON. I am seriously tempted by a MERLO (Deutz Engine would make me happy with my AGRO) - I was looking at a JCB SKIDSTER. Here in South Wales / Vale of Glamorgan - Valtra's seem to be gaining popularity after Contractors were using them more and more. CLAAS as well.
Then it's his fault for expecting it to perform like a large tractor.
Interesting machine, only thing I am left wondering is why (other than to demonstrate how good it is) you would want to switch out the cab suspension? Is there an operation you would use it for where “seat of the pants” feedback is necessary? (This is a serious question BTW).
Restricted access in low buildings etc
We have a telehandler on the feedlot, we don't have the multi farmer model but damn it's been a pretty good machine over all, don't know what we would do without one, it loaded 1000s of tons of silage over the years, great machine foe loading feed in my opinion
what a great bit of kit, be super for a smaller farmer so as you say he dosent have to spend thousands of pounds on a another tractor just to spend most of its life in the shed. did i eyeball an R B in the background, and does it have the dorman air cooled lump in it.great video mucker.
No it's an NCK and from memory it has a Deutz
Dog space is most importent.. Dogs are family.
One of the things I like to do is try to figure how to do certain scenario I am not currently in. One was could I run my farm with four tractors out of the ones in have. The four came up with was New Holland TV140, Deutz D100 06 MFWD, Deutz Fahr agrotron 120 mkII, and Deutz Allis 6260. If they had to be new this Merlot could replace the TV140.
Great vidj what a versatile bit of kit 👌🏻👍👌🏻👍👌🏻👍👌🏻👍👌🏻👨🌾✊💯🏴☠️🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Did you give it ago on something with the pto? Interested to see how it would do with a power harrow
There's footage of it on the rake etc
Can mind of a renault tractor on the place i was that had a forklift mast on the back . The seat turned round and you had pedals and mast controls at the back . Not the same but a dual purpose tractor . It was the older all orange renaults so a fair while ago
I want to say it was a 781/4?
