How sweetly Kripal sir did a voice over to avoid any negative comments about any other restaurant. This is when mam was trying to convey that this lassi is better than the one she had earlier. Great gesture 👍

Kripal ji, a great fan of yours. Your humbleness, your elaborate explanation about foods and your effort to capture the food culture of India is beyond appreciation. Aapka hindi kaafi acha lagta hai.. All the very best Kripal ji. Following your both channels.
The sweet is called “ Chena Murki “ in Bengal and not “ Murgi” as the gentleman mentioned 😀 A really yummy traditional sugary treat made by boiling pieces of paneer cubes in sugar syrup till the sugar starts to crystallise and coats the paneer. Can be made at home and stored. It derives its name from “ Khoi Murki “ which are tiny , sweet sugar coated roundels of popped rice or Khoi . P. S. Your friends chef Abhijit Saha and Shubhankar Dhar can surely throw more light on this
One thing we can notice is many of North Indian businesses are established post partitioned by those who moved from now Pakistan and this phenomenon is less evident in South India which obviously shows that partition has far more impact in North than South. Anyways, another great episode by Kripal Anna. Only he can articulate an entire episode on Lassi ( previous episode ) and keep us enthralled
Wow this is awesome and super mouth-watering ! Simply wonderful spread of Desi ghee sweets ! Loved the way the owner explained the texture and some background of each sweet 🙏🙏 ! Never ever heard of Chenna Murghi - Wonderful advice by Mr Kumud on not to watch your calories whilst in Amritsar. So glad that Sree enjoyed the dry fruit sweet and Lassi 👍👍 Thoroughly enjoyed the Vlog and thanks a bunch - Gonna have an early lunch for sure 👍👍🙏🙏🙏
Another good episode as usual...I like how the video editing is done...the sound byte continues while the video actually has no speaking part in it...it is unique to his videos I have found...love it...
Kripal bhai.. You reminded us our olden days.. During our college days.. We often used to visit Ambarrsarr (Usually Amiritsar bolne mai).. Sree madam ko bhi Punjab achha lag raha hai.. Great video...
It's also about in old days people use to work alot. Now we are used to the comfort life. Don't want to walk or do household works. Ghee also ask for some workout.. Irrespective, this corner of India is famous for Ghee and milk based product and it's all about how it's prepared.. Feeling hungry now, after dinner.

Sir it is not nippy...winters in Amritsar are kind of harsh temperature wise... sometimes below 0 as well .so u need extra calories to maintain the optimum body temperature...hence the ghee and dry fruits...

Usually it is offered in temples as Prasad along with boondi ladoo... remember buying it in childhood for 11 bucks before entering temple.
