The Beatles was the reason of wanting to learn to play piano, to learn to play guitar, to learn to sing better and the reason of wanting to learn to speak English. Greetings from Spain to you all Beatles fans! Also, you are the reason I want to learn to sing harmonies, thank you so much for sharing!
Mr. Frudua has done such a fantastic job on breaking down the vocals and harmonies here! Thank you so much for what you do!!! I sleep less than a mile from where Arthur Alexanders grave is located. He was the original writer of this song. I would never have known about "Anna" if the Beatles hadn't popularized it. I've never understood why the song is titled (go to him) yet the lyrics are (go with him). "You Better Move On" is another title Alexander created and later sang by The Rolling Stones.
Great job. I've been playing professionally for over 55 years, and your videos help myself and the other singer really get our parts down. Thank you very much!
When I was little we had a labrador who we named Anna after this song. She had a black puppy we named Ruby Tuesday. My parents brought us up with the best music ever made. I still listen to the album Please Please Me almost every day.
Thank you for talking about John's vocal interpretation, no one really talks enough about it (for me at least). It's not the difficulty of his lines that makes him a great singer (although sometimes he also sings very difficult stuff) but it's the way he delivers them, which gives a unique feeling. For example: take the song "Baby it's you" from this same album. The first line John sings "It's not the way you smile, that touched my heart" always gives me shivers and sometimes makes me cry; it is a very simple melody but the way he interprets it is out of this wolrd.
@Dashamir Uzeiri, I could not agree with you more. He was an unbelievably gifted singer. One of his best performances was 'God' .. the majesty, the spiritual beauty, is astounding ...
I remember this quote (from BACK THEN..). Detailing Lennon's tearing voice as "TEARINGLY PLAINTIVE," I RAN to my Spanish/English dictionary: "Plaintive is an adjective for describing someone or something with a pleading, sorrowful, desperate tone." WOAH... My Lil boy's cerebellum EXPLODED.
Fantastic! Galeazzo, you may think you know how much we all appreciate your Beatles vocal harmony breakdowns over the years but you really have no idea as to what degree! Whether we are just curious or musicians who want to learn more your videos are a must see! I know we are winding down the Beatles songs you can harmonize to yet there are a few left. I guess licensing or other issues prevent you from doing it. As for me, my ear could never pick up many of George's parts before you came on. And McCartney's strong vocals sometimes left me unsure of John's parts on some songs. As a result of listening to you you made my listening ear better, if that's possible. Thank you so much!
Anna is my favorite Beatles song. You nailed it as you always do, sounding just as beautiful as the Lads. What knocks me out about the Beatles is not only do they sing three part harmonies, but also play harmonies on their instruments at the same time. Incredible!
@marianovico9097 True, but I think their vocals are much better than the original. I feel that way about all their covers. It shows their enormous talent
You are the best Galeazzo. I've learned so much from you. This is an amazing tutorial, thank you. Also nice to see that you are collaborating and using the excellent "instruments only" tracks created by Ryohei Kanayama.
I'm so glad you're back! I love your Beatles lessons (that's how I learned to sing vocal harmonies, years ago). I've been watching your old videos for years, hoping for you to come back one day and you did! Thanks for that! :)
Very pleased as always to listen your performances and teachings. The instrumental track is by one of the greatest Beatles lovers, Kanayama. The Paul's part has impressed me much, indeed you suggested us to breathe several times, but I guess your execution was perfect.
wow what an excellent friend you are the best I was looking forward to this tutorial for months please upload more Beatles song tutorials do not stop doing it. greetings from Venezuela
Hello, I just wanted to say I really admire your dedication to the Beatles and their transmission. I can appreciate a lot more some songs after I watch some of your videos, which I also use to learn and teach sometimes :-)
Incredibly wide voice spectrum...you can emulate both John and Paul's vocal ranges, simply amazing. Also, very well detailed analysis of an incredibly early Beatles classic.
I've been watching you for some time now and I have to tell you.. I am MOST impressed Sir! You have helped my band find their harmonies on quite a few songs. So, thank you for what you do. 👍☮
I’m actually very surprised that you didn’t talk about the fact that George’s vocal drops to the minor third during the second B section and then he corrects himself and comes back up to the major. It’s such a cool “mistake”. 😃😃. Thanks for all your videos. Love your content!
Awesome ... you might be the only person who ever noticed the ending! I heard somewhere that The Beatles frequently tuned down a half step but, for this one, it seems they tuned up a half step. Is that correct?
Most of ur followers are musicians or people with some musical training, but if only the lay had an idea of how complex and skill demanding ur craft is...oh my,thanks for bringing such bliss to human kind...a question..Do you also tour the world like the Fab Four(world famous cover band).
I believe that Lennon did more for the Beatles' musical acceptance around the world (at least in Latin America, Spain & Italy) than a million Twist & Shouts
This is one of the very few songs that sounds better in their original version (non-Beatles). The fabs interpretation is great, very energetic, very engaging, but it completely lost the mystery of Arthur Alexander original version.

mine would be wanted to play bass
couldnt agree more
No one else can break down all the details of vocals with such accuracy! Great video!
i think the beatles butchered this song so badly. the original is far superior in complexity and depth.

John's lead vocal in the bridges is just top notch here. And it wouldn't stand out like it does without the backing. Great job.
Great job. I've been playing professionally for over 55 years, and your videos help myself and the other singer really get our parts down. Thank you very much!

I’m glad to see these old songs are not forgotten. Thanks for bringing them to the attention of today’s generations.
This song is one of my favourites and I used to sing it to my daughter when she was little as her name is Anna 🌷
Anna is my favorite Beatles song. You nailed it as you always do, sounding just as beautiful as the Lads. What knocks me out about the Beatles is not only do they sing three part harmonies, but also play harmonies on their instruments at the same time. Incredible!
But they did not write it.

True, but I think their vocals are much better than the original.

Dear Galeazzo, thank you for the amazing work and knowledge you bless us with.
Yes you have done real well here. Glad to see you are still doing these. Started following you around a decade ago.
You are the best Galeazzo. I've learned so much from you. This is an amazing tutorial, thank you. Also nice to see that you are collaborating and using the excellent "instruments only" tracks created by Ryohei Kanayama.

A great job as usual, Maestro!

Paul singing at the limit of his head vocal. Admirable.

Did you ever did the harmony breakdown of the Beatles version of "Keep Your Hands off My Baby" from the Beatles Live at the BBC?
I hope in the next you will make a video for singing Helter Skelter
Such a nice song

Paul and George sang well together.
You can really tell that John had a bad cold throughout this album which makes it all the more amazing!

The best way to sing this song is by doing it the way the original artist intended it to be done.
Nice, very helpful. Hard to hit those highs.

@@TheBeatlesVocalHarmony. Bless you
Jeez Paul’s vocal! I kept saying “wow that’s high” then he kept going higher!
What about "Not a second time" ? It's very hard to sing that one.
Phenomenal!
I am curious as to whether or not you can provide the backing track to your songs.
I can send some write me privately
Thanks 😊
The second chorus sounds like Paul sings a minor 3rd in one spot.
Yes he definitely does in both choruses.
great galeazo, you´re a master!!
Amazing!
Great job Galeazzo :-))
Bravíssimo!
I believe that Lennon did more for the Beatles' musical acceptance around the world (at least in Latin America, Spain & Italy) than a million Twist & Shouts
On pauls vocal, when john sings "like i" you edited a "like the video" thats very clever hahahah
Amazing. THanks
