- I wrote this song a few days after my father died on July 8, 2025, during his wake. I didn’t know how to survive or start our life without him. I went to church and prayed inside the prayer room. I had so many questions for God and kept asking Him why He took my dad so early. At the peak of my emotions, I just heard a whisper: “Even if your father and mother forsake you, I will never abandon you. (Psalm 27:10) I will be a father to the fatherless.” Psalm 68:5.
I picked up my guitar and started to pour out my thoughts and emotions through music. It’s been a very long time, and I haven’t had the courage or guts to sing and share this music-until today! I hope you will be blessed and inspired to carry on in this life that is full of trials and pain. God is our friend who is always there for you!
