I turned on the ESPN app and decided to watch championship volleyball instead of another meaningless bowl game. Glad I did. Good to see the Longhorns win the title. Got a little hairy in the third set as the officials seemed desperate to have Louisville not get swept.

Elliot can't with players he's recruited and trained. So he begs recruits to the tune of 5 or 6 players that have been trained to an elite level by other coaches to play for him. Eggleston only wins by putting better players around her. A great example is Nebraska last year a team full of freshmen beat Texas easily. You take all these players that have been trained by other coaches off this Texas team this year and Texas doesn't even make it to the Sweet 16. Probably not even into the tournament. This is not a Texas team at all. What a farce. And another fact is Elliot let these players know at the end of last season that he was going to do something about making this team better. The girls on that team last year knew it, they could feel it. And because of that look how many transferred away from Texas. That group of girls that transferred were supposed to be some of the best coming out of high school.

Having Fleck and the top defensive recruit out of Indiana with Roncallli in Halter was their missing pieces.
