Its time to return to where it all started. Also, knowing that this review was recorded before the DLC for 3 was released makes it funny as that DLC, specifically Future Redeemed, shows that Saga and the Blade games, except X, all take place in the same continuity.
Xenogears is my favorite thing EVER. It's basically the greatest crossover between Mobile Suit Gundam and Neon Genesis Evangelion, but it's also a heartfelt love letter to everything awesome about mecha anime from here to Mazinger Z. Also helps that Tetsuya Takahashi and his wife have been wanting to make their own Gundam JRPG for quite a while, which more than make sense as they're both huge ass mecha nerds.
Oh yes Xeno gears though I do wish more people know about this game more then Xenoblade. I know why but it just kind of irritates me that at times whenever I hear people talking about any of the Xeno games, no one ever brings up gears but it's more about blade. In fact the same can be said for saga but at least they had KOSMOS and TELOS in 2 but still.
@@lpfan4491 That sounds like a back then problem but if it was possible now, Square could have released like a rerelease of Xenogears like what they did for Chrono Cross and Namco and or Monolith Soft could have given us a Xenosaga collection with all 3 games. They do have options now, IF they did it that way.
@@MrDarksol I'm still very much holding my breath for an international Xenosaga rerelease(due to how positive the ties between the involved parties are currently), preferably everything, including the JP-only parts of it. When it comes to Gears, idk. Square can do literally whatever they want with it, they just for some reason won't. It is very baffling actually, it was considered one of the best RPGs of its time and the Xeno-name has been on the rise for years now, the IP is a moneyprinter waiting to be used.

I really was excited when I saw the notification for this video, I love the Xeno Series and all of its lore.
Good video, Shinta can't wait to see the rest of this series.
Never really been exposed to the Xeno games, except Xenoblade as of late through social media. But it's always nice to learn about a new game series.
I can relate to the long good bye thing dude.
