The trouble with Canada and many countries within Europe is that they are always hoping the US will come to their rescue if anything serious happens. They can no longer depend on US these days - the US have its own domestic problems that take priority over security and defence of friends and allies. All European countries need to increase their military expenditure to ensure they can defend themselves first and foremost.
