- Today we're going to cover the latest release of the hit mod Vs Impostor. Despite being a joke update of Version 5 there is still quite a bit to cover in regards to its content, so let's get into it!

fun fact: double kill is not forgotten in this mod one of the devs said that in v4 normally double trouble is scrapped in v4, but now it's the opposite in "v5" and double kill is now scrapped as a joke

Also, a few things to note: 1: Yellow being the imposter was actually supposed to be the original plan for V4, however, was scrapped in the final version. 2: Black's Visor is literally the normal visor but upside down. 3: Finale is Rareblin (And/Or Niisan's) version of Finale, not Vruzzen and Punkett's, most probably because Vruzzen joined later than Rareblin (Probably). And finally, all of this content are either scrapped content from V4 or old versions of songs (So, Yello as imposter was an old scrapped concept etc.)
So this is why White isn't present in the mod. Also, to note, Niisan probably joined later so yea correction
Also the green and yellows roles are actually spawed green was the crewmate and yellow was the crewmate pretender thats why green was a crewmate and yellow was an imposter and btw the idea of yellow being imposter is scrapped after 1 month of the release of v3

There's actually an unused version of double kill in the files the reason it was scrapped is because they made it like an alternative world where double trouble wasn't scrapped and double kill was

This entire april fools joke was a massive nostalgia trip to me because i had a video of the very first version a LONG time ago
People being mad about the April Fools update really shows how much people want another update
We really fell for the prank. Once Clowfoe announced V5 and that it will come out at the end of March, pretty much everyone got too excited and completely forgot that next month is April. I will admit, I was one of them. They had us all in the first half. And honestly, this was a good send off to one of the biggest and most awaited mod in FNF history. An April Fools prank. But hey, at least the songs are all bangers
Plague energy isn’t a “reimagining “ of identity crisis.it’s a downgrade of compromised persona composed by Adam mchummus.
same goes to Finale. it uses the old instrumental and voice made by Rareblin.

honestly i dont mind, I even had a feeling v5 was gonna be an April fools joke of some kind so it doesn't bother me

Plague Energy is based off of an old version of Identity Crisis known as Comprised Persona which was composed by Adam McHummus. However due to controversy surrounding Adam it got replaced by the one made by Doguy, Vruzzen, Rareblin.
Finale is a similar case where it uses an older version of Finale when it was planned to basically be Defeat (but better). The Defeat Remake was shown to Clowfoe, who really liked it. Punkett did the vocals to it because Vruzzen didn't like their own vocals.
Edit: Vruzzen was happy for Punkett doing the vocals. Clowfoe was talking with Punkett, and just asked him to do it (Thanks SnakesBakeCookies)

apparently vruzzen was happy for punkett to do the vocals but clowfoe just was in call with punkett and asked them to do it and vruzzen was kinda confused why they didnt just get him to redo it

In The game files I actually found the song for Double Kill which went unused. I didn’t find a chart for it tho.
that’s because they filled the download with the V4 files to make it look more real
@@Tierotrix idk it wasn’t in the v4 zip file and it didn’t sound like the original so maybe they did want to include it at some point but it didn’t make the Final Cut or something like that

Technically v5 is not a joke, in metatra's video, clowfoe said that v5 would include a couple more weeks and stuff like that, and what did we get? New weeks, because v1 style week 2 and 3 are 2 new weeks and we got JADS/Lime's week

Surprisingly despite the update being a complete joke Jads' week is what actually carried it through, mostly because of its sick tracks. Overall, I had a very great laugh with this update.
There is a couple things wrong with the bit about the traffic cone.
1. Black is wearing the orange cone.
2. Orange cone IS available in the beans shop, along with every variant that isn't purple.
Well back when the mod was being made you couldn’t get the orange cone (it was a dev only item) but eventually innersloth put it in the beans shop (at a higher price than the other cones)
@@thepainpanda7681 i know this. it happened a little while after v3 was released. but Dark said he was wearing a different color, so i wrote this comment. although, i beleive he did mention orange was availible in retrospect.

2:53-3:17 3 mistakes caught throughout this run time.
1:The cone is the ORANGE variant of "Traffic Jam" not red. 2:53
2: You are still able to wear the orange variant in normal Among Us and it's not limited to "Hide-N-Seek" 3:00
Finally, 3: This version of Finale isn't a demake, but is instead the old version of Finale, revived for this update. 3:13
4: Plague Energy isn't a demake of Identity Crisis, instead, it is a demake of Compromised Persona (Monotone's original song), again, revived for this update. 3:47
Tbh I’m definitely happy with the mod just due to lime, the tracks are so good and I just love listening to them
1:18 a similar thing happened when I saw the 7quid redux april fools build and realised it was a lot less mbs than the (now deleted) og 7quid

When I saw that imposter V5 was dropping on April 1 I thought something was wrong or maybe you could be a coincidence but when I saw the mod it’s self I was very disappointed but also I was also a little bit happy Cubs clown pho tricked us all we all thought that‘ five was going to be a bigger update to imposter V4

it seems to be a vs impostor inspired mod, and it's called Vs Tan impostor from this guy named GamerAnimates (they are a very talented artist and animator, i have been watching their content for a while)

The fresh remix is actually a reference to an old fnf mod where mods were simply just reskins or remixes/other songs.

Correction about Plague Energy: Identity Crisis also took place on The Skeld, except instead of the Cafeteria, it was the Reactor. They probably changed it to the Cafeteria in V5 because it's the most well known room in the map, since you spawn there and go there during meetings.
I feel like you should just combine all of the vs Impostor facts and make them to a movie😂

Fun fact: The reason why Double Kill is scrapped is cos Clowfoe thought it’d be funny for Double Trouble to get bright back and for Double Kill to be removed. The cherry on top is that Double Kill is Double Trouble remixed (likely to make up for the fact that Double Trouble couldn’t make it) so Imposter Trouble is the downgraded version of the lesser (still epic) version of the epic v4 version, making Impostor Trouble the downgraded v5 version of Double Kill, fitting the mod.

Vs Imposter V5 April fools update was pretty much the finale update for VS Imposter and yeah it was an April fools joke which i will say yeah it was pretty funny and hey at least we did get a new week which is the JADS week that came with some new banger songs and cool art but yeah it was a funny release.

I wasn’t really mad, I was mostly confused
*I find it funny that with each update from V1 to V4, the visuals start to look better, but strays away from the Among Us artstyle. Literally look at any of the static (non moving) poses in V5 (aside from JADS week) and it looks like A leak or teaser from Among Us. V2 and V3 has smaller outlines and stuff making it more FNF looking, but the colors are still accurate to Among Us, and V4 does it’s own thing.*

Here I got a fact for the mod, in the song called fallout the *"EMERGENCY EMERGENCY, CLEAR THE AREA IMMEDIATELY!"* comes from a episode of tugs ( just thomas but boats instead of trains ) from a character called, and I quote "Big Mike."
As well the song comes from the mini video horror series called sodor fallout.
As well, boiler test is based on I think a real thing that happened, basically back in the day there was a real thomas the tank engine train, where it would give people a tour thing, and they tested the train to make sure it actually works, but they made the face out of *flammable material*, which caused the eyes to melt in the song, and another fact about boiler test, the "drop the fire, drop the fire, the eyes are melting, drop the fire!" Comes from the same video (also I know that in the mod it has we have fire, but the og clip the guy has drop the fire, so don't come yelling at me, ok)
Also the rain still exists, but to look more like the cgi thomas, and have a non meltable face
