Hello, I use cone 5/6 clays. The red/brown ones in the videos are from Highwater Clays in Florida (Earthen Red). The yellow one is from a clay in Northern CA that is discontinued. I prefer low-grog, traditional, medium-fire clays. But you could use any type of clay out there. You could also use things like polymer clays, air-dry clays, and magic sculpt. I do fire my pieces, but with other clays that wouldn't be necessary.
