Shepard and miranda: have some fun in engineering
Kasumi: *eats popcorn*
yes
Then films and posts it on the extranet
If you think about it, this actually is more insight to Miranda’s character. She’s basically flaunting to Jack and Tali, her rivals for a Straight Shepard, that she’s shagging the Commander and they can’t anything. It’s a power play, to show that she is the dominant person on the ship which really fits well with her more controlling nature at times.
She has cleared engineering. No uninvited visitors.
@@greyd.99xsome you can see engineering through a window in the lab
Miranda should of been a squad mate in ME3. She’s almost impossible to kill
In ME2, was one of the most popular romances, was the poster girl of that game, AND you’re literally fighting the organization she was second in command of throughout the whole game. At the very least she should of been involved in the assault on the illusion mans base
I don't like her. She is a tool, made in a lab and keeps defending a horrible organization.
@@jurom6765 u do realize she eventually leaves Cerberus realizing they were just using her
@@Ray-mj5mj don't forgot the huge reason was because they were protecting her sister at that time
Yeah very large missed opportunity there.
They made it sound like you were going have all your romance options as squad mates vying for your attention. I really didn’t like the way they structured this game. Was hoping it would be more like 2

Thane death always hurts me man
Maybe Miranda like being watched ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
So that's why the were blocked off in the refit! XD
Zaedd has a monitor to see around the ship lol
She's the only one of all of Shepard's romantic interests who would cry if you broke up with her.
It means that she really treasures a relationship with Shepard
and die, as well
@@yostserch And before she dies she will say that she loves Shepard and in one of the versions of waking up with him after the party in the dlc Citadel, she will say that she is happy with him.
Yea surprising since she was the most bitchy to him at first, then she basically adores him.
@@dannyjack659 Bitchy? Well, it probably depends on everyone's personal perception, everyone sees what they want to see. Personally, I didn't see anything bitchy from her towards Shepard, as far as I was concerned she was cool, detached, professional. Creating an image of a snow queen that melts away when you get to know her better, I think Jack is more of a bitch, she's insulting and mean in her dialogues with him and generally being rude to him until you get to know her better, but even then, she'll keep poking fun at Shepard but in a friendly way. I didn't see any rudeness or boorishness from Miranda in the early stages of your relationship, she's cold and distant, but then she shows that behind that cold mask there is just a person.
36:40-37:20
Jacob: Doing it in the engine room. Heavy risk...but the priiiiiize.
Garrus: Shepard has reach but damn does Miranda have flexibility!
Jack: Cerberus slut!
Zaeed: This brings me back...
Joker: I better not take pics and expect to survive the reprisal.
EDI: I love the sight of humans on their knees.
Mordin: Hmm, wonder if Shepard checked for bugs. No matter, can perform exam later if necessary. Will need probes.
Grunt: Heheheh
Samara: Surely this can be done in a safer environment, but the code does allows it.
Thane: Very impressive Miranda, I see zero flaws that a skilled assassin could exploit were they in Shepard's position.
Legion: We have reached a consensus that Miranda is really top-heavy.
Kasumi: Really Shepard? In the engine room? I hope Tali isn't watching...
Tali: 😥
This is perfect!

@@SvenTviking | And that butt...
I love this type of women and those who resemble this type, I'm crazy about them, I'm drawn to them like a magnet, Miranda, Morrigan, Yennefer, etc. Cold, sometimes sarcastic and distant in appearance, but warm and loving when you get to know them, showing their soft side only to those they really respect, appreciate and love, so for me in the whole trilogy there is only one woman and that woman is Miranda.

Even with better lighting and textures, there are so many animation issues that Miranda just doesn't do Yvonne Strahovski justice. Imagine these scenes with 2021 level animation.

Romanced her on my first playthrough many years ago, was thinking this time i'll romance Tali when legendary edition came out, but NOPE, the moment i met Miranda, i just can't resist to romance her again
So I wanted to romance Ashley this time around, and I'm sticking to that in ME1. But should I stick with Ashley through the trilogy? Or switch to Miranda instead?
@@Diamond_2403 i never romance Ash in ME3, so i can't tell you how good it is, but at least i think Ash is quite likeable in ME3, also she's a squadmate so it might have more scenes, as for Miranda, imo her romance is better in ME3 with citedel dlc, if you never romance Miranda before, i really recommend it, the romance scenes in citedel dlc are quite satisfying, i think you can romance everyone until a "lock-in" scene though.
@@ericliu2515
I'll just stick with Ash for my current playthrough and then just fully give in to Miranda in my next.
She has the best arc and character development out of all the female leads : from an aloof ice queen, merciless yet beautiful Cerberus researcher to a kind, caring, broken yet striving woman looking for her happy ending despite an upbringing riddled by tragedy and emotional abuse at the hands of Henry, she is one of the most intricate and well-written characters of the franchise overall. And she's HOT!
sucks she isn't a squad mate for ME3
I thought they are going to fix that but no
Big sad.
@@butterfly3737 wouldn't be surprised if a modder manages to find a way to swap Liara's model, with Miranda's

“And Ashley… have you SEEN that Ass?? You broke us up there’s only so much a man can resist.”
*SHEPARD:* You don't get to be mad about that.
*ASHLEY:* I can be mad about whatever the hell I want!
I wish all your crew from me2 had bigger roles in the third game they’re all pretty much sidelined (besides garrus and tali) it’s a shame too because they’re all from the best game in the series
I already had a problem not having all members from ME 1 in ME 2....
Agreed, but the amount of crewmates you can kill off in ME2 kinda made it necessary, unless they would've given ME3 the development time of Andromeda (without spending 2.5 years of that time scrapping almost every idea and starting from scratch)
The absence of Miranda is an especially sore point since she not only was a romance option, but she's incredibly important to the story (resurrecting Shep, past Cerberus ties, etc) .
Miranda is the reason 75% of Ashley/Liara relationships fell through..
That and the fact that without the dlc There are not in the squad
It doesn’t help that Ash was a massive bitch in ME2.
you mean the two halves of a football on chest height, and another two on pelvis level?🤣 (at least before that dumb nerf)
Meh, Ash had it coming
@@ogladaczr.t.3168 They didn’t nerf her, her body/character is still the exact same they literally only removed like 2 camera shots lol

I wanted her to be part of my crew in ME3. Always loved her... Her romance is a fine line between the stiffness of Ashley and the cheeky Liara.
Liara is beautiful and her kindness is enticing. But I see her as a best friend/confidante/big sister. Tali fits more with Garrus and she seems a bit childish even though I appreciate her as a character. Miranda is the perfect fit for John, female wise, because their personalities are extremely similar : surrounded by death ever since they were kids, witnesses of the worst types of abuse, rendered merciless and aloof due to their shady pasts, unable to emotionally rely on anyone but their superhuman abilities, highly intelligent and physically attractive. They bring the best and most vulnerable out of each other. Miranda, thanks to him, saw herself as a person worthy of love for the first time in 34 years of life. And she's utterly sexy and riveting. She reminds me of some women in my life from appearance to personality. Ashley...I just cannot!
@@moisemensah8233 I liked the romantic side of Ashley but it was not completely well-developed... it is just there. Regardless of what you achieve with her in ME1, she rejects you in ME2 because the devs wanted to... in ME3 she is comatose for half the game just to return as a semi-antagonist... I think that the devs didnt develop her properly because she represents the opposite of what they are trying to sell regarding diversity. But she is conservative, she is sensible and good-looking... she is made like that human racist supremacist... but all that sje has experienced so far before Shepard was alien animosity towards humans. Even her bosses assigned her to dull patrolling duties due to her grandfather history... that is all she knows... all what her parents, family and herself had to endure was fault of the Turians... anyway... they turned her into an unlikable character... at mid of ME1 more or less... She feels stiff but I had played the romance and it is boring... like they wanted to.... regrettably...
The perfect couple! They are made for each other! The citadel DLC made it so much better

@@Rapunzel879 nah, wtf man
I wish she was in the 3rd game alot more. She such an important character in 2 and she evolved so much from being a cerberus cheerleader to one of the Normandy heros. Would of loved for her to of been at shepards side on the squad for the 3rd
I agree, it would have been nice at least to have her party-up during her final story-arc like Liara in Shadow Broker. In fact that would have been fun with all of the companions who made cameos in ME3. I really liked Kasumi too and wish they'd done a lot more with her.
@@WickedPrince3D yeah i agree mate. I love kasumi as well and found me3 ruins her dlc in 2. As no matter what you choose she gets the data anyway so you might as well just let her keep the memories
@@jedibateman9452 You know I didn't even know that. I tend to always make the same choices so I never ran into this one. I've never really used Kasumi outside of her DLC because I got so used to running with Tali as my tech-girl. My ancestors are about half eastern-european/slavic and I have a thing for Tali's accent. LOL. :)
@@WickedPrince3D I never played the DLC for ME2 and ME3 when they first came out. I didn't play through any of them until the Legendary Edition. I actually found Kasumi to be one of the more interesting female characters in the game. I wish that they would have made her into a romance option for Shepard but I guess that BioWare might have thought that her obsession with Keiji meant that it wouldn't have worked.
Then again, she does mention in ME3 that she might come back to the Normandy if Jacob were still on board so they likely could have made her a potential romance option for Shepard.
@@Maddogg-hg5me I wish they'd done a lot more with her DLC; they should have done more to make the DLC companions feel more like the other companions and being male and hetero I of course would have liked to have more interaction with her than her cast-off stories of her past adventures and her curiosity with Jacob's muscles. Romancing her might have been fun but I'm totally a Liara fan-boy so it doesn't matter much to me. I actually started the franchise with ME2 as the previews of the game looked incredible enough to convince a guy who doesn't do shooters to give this one a try. I was NOT disappointed. To add to the experience I grabbed every DLC but the two with the jump-tank I hated; couldn't get the hang of the darned thing and because of that I couldn't complete the 2nd DLC that used it a lot. In any case I liked the companion DLCs more but wish there had been more to them.
It looks like she has something under her eye at the end of the Citadel DLC (1:00:07), I like to think its her tearing up a little, it gives a little more emotional charge (considering its the last time you see her in person), and also, it wouldn't be the first time she does it!
It looks like they fixed her ME3 look, I always thought she looked a little...off, like they just slapped the ME2 model in there, but when they took the Cerberus logo off it fucked the hair up so they had to redo it from scratch.
Miranda made me cheat on Liara every playthrough lol.

Yvonne Strahovski - Miranda is very hot actress!
Genetically engineered to be perfect. Right down to her looks. Yes, yes they were.
She was such a crush growing up
Yo fax
Wonder why…?
Yvonne Strahovski is still hot
Miranda is the best romance for male shepard in my opinion unlike the others she doesn’t look up to him or worship him the relationship and interactions feel more natural and equal they seem to have the most chemistry also it’s the most interesting when you think about it the Cerberus 2nd in command ends up with the Top Alliance super soldier lol
As much I love Liara, i think that Miranda romance is most natural. Her arc of going from a Cerberus loyalist who wants to put a control chip in Shepard’s head into someone who tells the Illusive Man to F off for Shepard’s sake is fantastic. Still mad she wasnt squad mate in ME3.
Ahhh the best girl
Cerberus Cheerleader Bosh'tet!
she sure is.
Miranda. From what I've seen of her so far, she seems like the tsundere type of woman. Takes a damn eternity to get her to trust you, let alone open up to you, but when she does, it's totally worth it.
Pretty sure tsundere are not worth it xD
Oh, Miranda’s a tsundere, too?
I can't get over how terrible Renegade Shepard looks. I know looks aren't everything but damn, Miranda has interesting taste.
Of the many impossible choices of mass effect choosing between Miranda and Tali in 2 is by far the most difficult.
I like tali but she fangirls over shepard too much with miranda the relationship feels more equal imo
Tali to me is the weakest romance. She and Shepard have no gradual build up of their romance. She's firmly in the friend zone for 1.5 games, and then suddenly she's romanceable. She also doesn't have any of the sexual/sensual traits that Miranda/Liara/Ashley have. She fits much better as a good friend/little sis rather than a romantic partner.
That moment when they accidentally force a drive core overload because Miranda was sitting on the controls
y'all can keep Tali and Liara and Jack and especially Ash. I'll be over here with Miranda i.e. BEST girl.
50:08 i swear if this isn't photorealism then idk. Pretty badass job of bioware just too bad that it glitched back to normal a second later x)
You must not look at a lot of photos then
That engine room is a really public place to start bonking. Like, half the crew can see what's going on in there.
That was the whole point, she did it deliberately so that most of the ship would see it. When you have a romantic relationship with her and you try to have one with someone else, she'll say:"I won't be shared. If this is going anywhere, everyone on this ship needs to know that you're mine". So I understand why she chose the engineering room, by this action she wants to show and tell everyone else that Shepard is hers and he belongs to only her, I think she did it deliberately so everyone would see her with Shepard. Think about it, Mordin's lab where you can see the engineering room, Jacob's gun room where you can see it too, Thain's room, the crew room on deck 3, Zaeed's room with video surveillance, I think she planned it that way on purpose, she designate the territory, show Jack and Tali their place.
@MasterRaven0707 the drive crew also emits eezo which makes the thing more pleasurable for biotics
@@MasterRaven0707 I do agree with you. But the whole crew besides the squadmates were taken by collectors at that point.

YEET!
Miranda... My dream woman!
the voice of the "illusive Man" sounds like Martin Sheen
This is the voice of Martin Sheen.
I wonder why that is...
There; at about 13:40 she says it: "I have a sister, a twin." - If Miranda was full-grown then her TWIN sister probably wasn't a "baby" when Miranda took her. The people who keep attacking her because her father lied to mercenaries to convince them to work for him can quit up about the "kidnapped a baby" thing as a reason to hate on her. Now admittedly there's a question about what counts as a twin for a genetically modified clone? What this video left off is Miranda telling us she's a genetically modified clone of her father. That her father did this over and over and every time the clone girls turned out to be sterile like Miranda he dumped them. Miranda's sister might be the only one that wasn't sterile. Now don't imagine that her father wanted a fertile female clone of himself so she could have other men's children. The unspoken part is that he intended them to have HIS son so that he could have a son with only his own genes. Of course this begs the question of why he didn't just create a clone son instead of a series of clone daughters. But then her father isn't sane; we learn that absolutely in the third game. Addon: around 20:00 she says her sister is almost 19 and that Miranda was a teen when her sister was created. Oriana wasn't a baby when Miranda rescued her, a young girl yes but not a baby. And as I've mentioned the father's plans for the girls seemed VERY sinister. Miranda's coldness until you get to know her is because her father was a bastard who drove his clone daughters to be perfect without giving them any love. Growing up wealthy isn't a benefit when you are growing up emotionally abused.
@Yung Grandma It's all in ME2 if you talk to Miranda a lot and get her full story - and read between the lines a little bit. Her father was a self-obsessed monster. Most people hate her so much they won't talk to her enough to get her full story; but she's like any of the real companions; they all have their complexities that you have to learn from them little by little as you convince them to open up. I've been a fan of BioWare for decades; they have a long history of writing strange and interesting characters. And they just keep getting better at it over the years. :)
Of all the options in Mass Effect 2 and 3, I think Miranda was probably the best suited to be with Shepard. In my humble opinion.

Do Shepard and Miranda ever say they love each other? it kinds of irks me how she just walks off after the citadel dlc, no hug, no kiss just separate directions and her final appearance is as a holo and neither of them can say I love you at that point either.
I really like Miranda especially since I'm Aussie too but that detail really annoys me. Maybe mass effect 4 will correct how badly this relationship wraps up.
If she dies in priority horizon and you romanced her her last words to shepard are I love you
37:30 : I'm Commander Shepard and I want to stare into your soul!
Wait was the couch and bed scenes added to ME2 I don't remember those 37:50
No, those scenes always existed in the game. every romance has the bed and couch scene. You can invite your Love interest up to your room if they survived the suicide mission.
35:53 What was Miranda doing with those five minutes? Was it just like:
"Let me just change back into my default outfit so you can take it off me again."
I care about you Ash...Miranda! Damn it!
ME 3 was so dumb to not have Miranda as a main character. And why did they keep her in the Cerberus uniform in ME3? Such silly writing.
They had to water down the availability of the ME2 crew because no one knew if any of them would survive the ending.
I like everything about her design, her outfits, her face, her slender but curvy body, her voice and teeth and even her little drama story. What I don't like is that she is infertile which doesn't make any sense since she's suppose to be genetically gifted in pretty much all fields and reproduction is the most important part since it's continues one genes. The one purpose I can say about genes and DNA is that they want to replicate and spread, to continue to exist.
It's a video game. Get over it.
Christjesus, lovedus dyed for us
the ending seem begging for another ME season
