One suggestion- for one on one games can you show civ introduction card which shows bonuses/ unique units etc. , you explain it but it will be good to see visually for a couple of seconds
I think he panicked once he saw cav archers. It took him awhile to get skirms going and the tower defense would have been better if he could manage to get a castle down instead.
but they have husbandry, Teutons don't (and only the fairly fragile Castle age Scouts) and thus have nothing that can catch the CA so Viper can decide how, where and when to fight.
@@morgs5118 yeah, in castle age of all the things I mentioned only the thumb ring is an actual restriction. For imp, theviper could actually switch to arbalests and keep the upgrades.
I actually think this game highlights the power of Sicilian bonus-reduction so nicely - those skirmishers had their two attack bonuses reduced by 33%, giving the Sicilian CA so much more lasting power
19:39 funny enough this is one situation where good micro kills you, he focused too much on microing the skirms vs the cav archers and did nto spend enough time on targeting the villagers with the tower which would be the first priority in thsi situation

Damn next time

Excited for viper, glad to see he's still on form
But I do have a soft spot for the teutons
Let's see... no thumb ring, no parthian tactics, no final armor and, most importantly, no heavy ca upgrade. TheViper is an absolute madman! 🤣

I do agree though, very unorthodox strategy

Perhaps that's the reason he chose to go the CA route; no one would anticipate that.
@@schwetang main reason is teuton dont have good counter of Cav archers ... they are slow and tanky
