There was a period sometime in the mid-'90s when my mom cleaned Mr. and Mrs. Bock's Pound Ridge home once a week. She brought me with her sometimes. I was 14 or so. (We were basically Polish peasants.) Mr. Bock allowed me free reign in his home. I was particularly fond of his studio, with its countless music albums and the beautiful swimming pool I was graciously given access to. I was made to feel like I was visiting a blood relative's home each time. My mom was never received or treated as a housecleaner but welcomed and affectionately embraced as a family member. One of the most excellent, genuine, and admirable people I have ever known. (I still have my cherished Fidler on the Roof CD he signed for me. ) --Patryk (and Ewa)
Incredible interview. It's wonderful to hear the stories and understand the history of Broadway from the people who lived through it and shaped what it is today. I hope you continue to do more videos like this, it will be an immensely valuable historical archive for theatre writers in decades (and centuries) to come

I so agree. It's especially interesting to hear from major collaborators like these while they still remember the details.
So wonderful, thank you for sharing all of these insightful interviews!!
