It doesn’t matter if a planet has oxygen buck. Humans need air which isn’t just oxygen. An atmosphere with only oxygen would actually be poisonous. We need an oxygen AND nitrogen atmosphere to breathe

An Alien organism could metabolize differently from us and be able to filter out toxic chemicals that we can't or breath entirely different chemicals. Like what if there where organism that intake Hydrogen instead of Oxygen hypothetically on a planet that lacks sufficient Oxygen. could you still breath on that planet?
