It's like chasing the sky😊⛅️ Such a beautiful driving video🚙 The surrounding scenery and the buildings we saw along the way were lovely☺️ Thank you for the enjoyable video👍❤
Wow... railroad crossing guard shack still at @0:18. During our 2006 visit, guard was still working. They were standing out side pushing a switch to activate the crossing. When next we visited in 2009, fully automated, no more crossing guard attendant. I have video on my RUclips upload collection of a Soviet era DR1 train passing the Järvevana tee crossing from during our 2012 visit to Estonia. At @2:36 my how this intersection has changed since 1997! Overpass of Tartu mnt. At @2:40 so East side of Tartu mnt, right side / TLL side used to be an abandoned building. Looked like it had been left that way since WW-II. Between the Soviet era toilet in TLL, then this "blown up building" I was so freaked out, in my mind I was getting on the very next plane out of Estonia! 🤯 At @3:06 I fortunately took a few bicycle rides to visit this intersection before it was reconfigured. Used to be abandoned petro station on the left next to the railroad bridge. I got a lovely panoramic photo of the bridge at the top of the access steps. Visible are support piers for a second track... still never has been added. At @3:39 to @3:42 does it skip ahead distance, so miss seeing Maardu järve on the right? I remember next to Maardu järve was abandoned buildings for GAI Automobile Inspection Check-Point. At @6:58 Estonian forests are soooo beautiful. Suur aitäh!
Tere! Many thanks for the interesting information 🤗 Yeah, Lake Maardu has been missed, but next time I`ll film it as well 👌Estonian nature is really beautiful..love it! Ilusat suve jätku Sulle !
@@tiina777 I suppose the GAI Automobile Inspection Check-Point might be similar to in the film "Candles in the Dark" at this point... ruclips.net/video/qyn3wXSiPbE/видео.html And one of our neighborhood friends in Pirita-Kose is a soldier in that film! 😎 Fortunately I never saw such check-points in operation.
@@tiina777 Ma ei tea.... An American teaching an Estonian about Estonia?! There is another film also made in the 1990's telling the story of Estonia getting freedom from the news people point of view. It has scenes about the resistance moment which saved the Tallinn TV tower from capture by the Soviets. It is told from the lives of the news workers point of view. Last time we were in Estonia for Christmas and New Years, it was shown on Estonian Television. I just cannot find someone who recognizes it to learn the name of the film.
@@pianoman4Jesus I stood in the Baltic chain, walked between tanks in Tallinn etc .. sellised ajad..Maybe this one jupiter.err.ee/1608298887/august-1991
