    I love this. I love the 3 cultural perspectives and then you translate them for modern Heathens. The first Aett is the one I connect to the most, but also Freya has been the most present Norse goddess for me, so it makes sense. I mostly receive runes from her Aett and am just trying to listen right now. She’s very sassy, but in a “imma teach you something today, do better for yourself” kind of way, and I love it 💛

    I liked the idea that Ansuz was shaped liked Woden's flowing cloak. Always stuck with me after I read it.
    Wonderful video as ever.

    This was so great. I loved the rounded approach of looking at all three lineages of the rune interpretations (Anglo Saxon, Icelandic and Norwegian). This is a wonderful format for presenting the runes. 😊

    A great way to use ᛬ᚦ᛬ for protection is to put it around something (circle) you want to to protect with the points sticking out. Think of thorns on a rose 🥀 . Very powerful, use it wisely!

    I remember reading that with Kenaz - yes its the torch but back then, torches were made with fire and the Norwegian poem talking about death and the bane of children may refer to the ulcers from disease that they would get back then which were inflamed and hot and a lot of the time, lead to death. I found that interesting that it's both torch, but the heat from the flame.

    Your Rune video is the best I've come across. Thank you! You pronounce them and explain them the same way my mentor does. I am watching again to study! Blessings 🦄🕸🌞🌳🌕🐈‍⬛️🦉

    I looked up how to say aett because I didn't know either. It's apparently said with a long I sound. So ight like in fight.

    So how exactly would you use Wunjo in a spell? like, to help bring harmony between a group that keeps fighting? or something else?

    • @TheNorseWitch
      @TheNorseWitch  2 года назад +1

      I would personally use Wunjo to bring friendship and kinship between people ☺️ so yeah just what you said basically ☺️
      Or do you mean how exactly you would use runes in general in spells?
