I love this. I love the 3 cultural perspectives and then you translate them for modern Heathens. The first Aett is the one I connect to the most, but also Freya has been the most present Norse goddess for me, so it makes sense. I mostly receive runes from her Aett and am just trying to listen right now. She’s very sassy, but in a “imma teach you something today, do better for yourself” kind of way, and I love it 💛
This was so great. I loved the rounded approach of looking at all three lineages of the rune interpretations (Anglo Saxon, Icelandic and Norwegian). This is a wonderful format for presenting the runes. 😊
A great way to use ᛬ᚦ᛬ for protection is to put it around something (circle) you want to to protect with the points sticking out. Think of thorns on a rose 🥀 . Very powerful, use it wisely!
I remember reading that with Kenaz - yes its the torch but back then, torches were made with fire and the Norwegian poem talking about death and the bane of children may refer to the ulcers from disease that they would get back then which were inflamed and hot and a lot of the time, lead to death. I found that interesting that it's both torch, but the heat from the flame.
Thank you for filming these videos! I was always a little confused by the runes but you explained them so well 😊 I'm looking forward to the next videos of this series
Your Rune video is the best I've come across. Thank you! You pronounce them and explain them the same way my mentor does. I am watching again to study! Blessings 🦄🕸🌞🌳🌕🐈⬛️🦉
I would personally use Wunjo to bring friendship and kinship between people ☺️ so yeah just what you said basically ☺️ Or do you mean how exactly you would use runes in general in spells?
Hiii where can i found those poems you were reading? im really interested on reading them. I've been reading futhark a handbook of runes as a way to support my knowledge along with your videos so thank you

Without a doubt, the best resource I’ve found learning the runes!
Thank you for creating this series!! 💜
Thank you 😭😭

Your videos have been so so helpful! Runes seemed so intimidating for me to learn before, but it has been amazing watching your videos💓
Im so glad to hear that! 🥰
Great series so far! I love Arith Harger’s channel too.
I liked the idea that Ansuz was shaped liked Woden's flowing cloak. Always stuck with me after I read it.
Wonderful video as ever.
ONLY 8 comments, that's a shame you deserve more
thank you for making the runes so accessible!!! you’re such a positive part of my craft 💜
😭😭 you’re so welcome! ❤️ thank you for appreciating it!

It sounds to me like Gebo represents the gifting cycle/reciprocity.
Very well done, Thank you
This video made me realize I actually have two variations of Ansuz in my runestones, which I think is very cool!
I looked up how to say aett because I didn't know either. It's apparently said with a long I sound. So ight like in fight.
I totally took notes for my grimoire.
I love hearing that 🥰
I didn't see the falic-ness of thurisaz. As you were describing it, i imagined like a "momma bear" type of energy
Very informative! Thank you! You've been a huge help with my learning
Oh that makes me very happy ❤️
So how exactly would you use Wunjo in a spell? like, to help bring harmony between a group that keeps fighting? or something else?

@@TheNorseWitch I meant the former, thanks!

You can find them for free on the internet! Even on Wikipedia ☺️ just google the poem (eg Icelandic rune poem) and you’ll find it quite easily
@@TheNorseWitch i found them! thank you so much
can misunderstanding runes be dangerous?
SUPER random... but I always love your clothing... do you buy online by any chance?? hehehe
Oh thank you! Actually no, I only buy secondhand :/
Can you recommend a book in English that tells about runes? 🌟
I think they put on a video in the last year with some book recommendation for various topics and they cover also runes
