They are from two different worlds and Virgil is just like a figment of imagination meaning which he isn’t real. AU’s like that where a certain characters goes into a family without any canon reason as to why is making me frustrated, plus it’s like they are made from one creator(Scott Cawthon) and meanwhile it degrades the other creator(Thomas and Friends) it’s like Thomas doesn’t even exist.
