    Thank you again for naming the different parts of the plant and explaining where they are. Saves me a little time instead of trying to look them up in a 📕

    I have purple dead nettle growing in my yard wild. I ate some, doesn't taste too good, but research shows it to be a pretty healthy herb, and associated with Archangel Michael.

    Thanks for showing the difference between the two plants. I was brought to your channel because the book the lost ways talk about edible plants and I wanted to see better pictures than they posted.

    You have such awesome wisdom, please do more of these, I love learning about plants. Help identifying, talking about how you use them and how to grow them. Blessings

    I'm munching on henbit right now. I had a great day foraging and want some ideas on the medicinal use for henbit and purple deadnettle. (located in southeastern Missouri)

    To keep Purple Deadnettle all year round .. do you just pick, wash and let dry.. and eat dried or put in teas?

    • @GrammaRosesHomestead
      @GrammaRosesHomestead  4 года назад +1

      Yes you can. I use my dehydrator, but you could hand them in a bunch and put them in jars after they were totally dry.

    I didn’t top off my henbit in a quart jar, 10 days passed and it is very dark, the vodka and henbit, I added some more henbit and topped the jar with vodka, is it still okay, I mean did it oxidize in 10 days cause the vodka was not to top,,,,, I did cover it when it was half full. I enjoyed your video, I’m not seeing a lot about after it has set a few months? 💗❤️

    If dried and stored does it keep it's properties?

    • @GrammaRosesHomestead
      @GrammaRosesHomestead  4 года назад +2

      Yes, in fact, if you want to make an oil infusion, it's best to use it dried.
