@thwoomper Here's some info for u...the work requirement doesn't go into effect until Jan 2027. If you're a student, work 20+ hrs per week, disabled, over 65, have kids under 13..then you're eligible for Medicaid/Ebt pending income and assets. Each state has their own requirements or system and some already had work, job search or community service requirements for cash assistance, Medicaid, Ebt. So in 2027 it will be a requirement for every state. It's only 'taking away' from those that are NOT eligible ( like non-citizens)and are able to work.

There is a big difference between "Medicare and Medicaid"... Medicaid is for a truly impoverished person, but technically they should work 80 hours per month and have an annual salary of less than $13,500 per year. They have superior healthcare through "Medicaid".. Now "Medicare", which is a sad and lacking system that those over 65 must "sign up for" and we pay monthly for. Some Doctors do not accept it and if one is having a procedure they need supplemental insurance to pay for it. Example.. I went to the Doctor for a physical and he knew I had Medicare and insurance, the bill was over $900 dollars and Medicare and insurance only paid for part of this. I ended up paying $250.00 to the slimy Doctor and his billing dept kept sending me statements indicating I owed more... Why have this lousy healthcare ??
