Trivium should definitely be the next band you do a full album reaction to. The hard part would be deciding which album to do since they're all great in my opinion. But I'd probably go with Shogun considering there isn't really a skippable song on the entire album.
Do it to your wife on life support and get back to me. This was her favorite band. You have to continue to headbang and move on. Dont ever just get lost in sadness. Im 2 years into that decision. Im just now coming out. I had to learn to headbang for her. She never got to hear this. But she would be going nuts over the song. Screw the message. Its a banger. I went out despite my feelings and saw Jinjer and Amity Affliction. Her 2nd and 3rd favs and Slipknot. Do you sit feeling sorry or do you move on always with a lesson in life and hold up that person you loved but not hold you back
Alex Bent is phenomenal drummer, personally for me he's in big 3 of modern "high popular" top level drummers (Jay of Slipknot, Mario of Gojira and him). Actually I know one more song by Trivium like that, called "And Sadness Will Sear", I don't remember for sure, it was about some young guy's tragedy or so, very sad and depressive song from the times when Trivium cosplayed Metallica.
I know you specifically said those are the big three of "super popular drummers" (which I would agree with), but as far as skill and technique go, I think Eloy Casagrande from Sepultura owns them all. He's not human.

Your audio is still very low, the song is low as well in this video. I know you're probably sick of me talking about audio levels but I just want to be able to enjoy videos without messing with my volume and I want your videos to be as good as possible. Watch a RUclips video at a normal volume level and then watch this one and you should hear the difference. I just watched 2 Rockin Grannies with my volume at 3 (that's my normal level) and I had to put your volume up to 9 to be a similar level. (I'm on a Mac so my volume isn't 1-100)
@@richardsinclair7661 My headphones are fine, I have to turn up the volume for Dan's videos and then turn it back down for other people's videos. I'm giving him feedback on how to make his videos a bit better, if he doesn't want to act on the feedback then that's up to him
this is the BEST song on the album
Pls, don't stop doing trivium
I’d say for me the saddest heavy songs I like would be Bring me home by Whitechapel or Memento mori by Architects
its such a good song... but it hurts. it hurts for real.

Watch Alex Bent do the drum playthrough for betrayer. It's fantastic

truly one of the saddest trivium songs ever written
but i think the saddest heavy song is still KoRn daddy
Of All These Yesterdays is a power ballad
In Waves is apparently about Mass Murder/Suicide, is that sad?
I recommend Amon Amarth - Where Silent Gods Stand Guard

Metal Monkey The volume is fine. Even if it wasn't, he has no obligation to cater to you. Get some louder headphones or deal with it.

React to Evanescence - End of The Dream("Synthesis" album)
You think this is sad? Listen to Departure from the Ascendancy album, the lyrics are a suicide note
LaidToRest04 Tbh, all of Ascendancy is really freaking sad. There's so many mentions of worthlessness, depression, suicidal thoughts, and abuse.
YES. Fuckin love that song.
Where’s Linkin Park New Divide?
what?
