hey, don't feel bad about the person who made that comment. These people have nothing better to do in their lives. Quran is a book where God talks to us DIRECTLY.. All of our lives and experiences are different but you will find verses in the Quran that will relate to your life 100%.. its amazing.. Another interesting thing I realized, every time you open this book, you will find something new, something that you have not seen before.. even if its the same chapter you read before, you will find something new in it EVERY TIME.

@@mzmi1422 asking a non-Muslim woman to wear hijab or discouraging her from building a relationship with the Quran is NOT a good advice. People who make comments like that are pushing non-muslims away from Islam. If you defend these people then you are working against Islam too

Quran is Allah speaking to readers inviting them to think ponder to look at the landscape sun moon those are signs of allah , in many other verses, God emphasizes that one of the most crucial purposes of the Qur’an’s revelation is to invite people to ponder..by thinking while isolating his or her conscience from all social, ideological and psychological obligations, the person should eventually perceive that the entire universe, including himself or herself. is created by a superior power. Even when he examines his own body or any other thing in nature, he will see an impressive harmony, plan and wisdom at work within its design.

      @@parentforlife salaam,
I do know that you have good intentions friend ,that's why i do not like rectifying your translation and what you said. So many people here in the comment sections have been making the same mistake as you and it only open the doors for non- muslims( skeptics) to criticize the prophetic traditions with a good reason ( even if their intentions are bad). This has happened, and still happens unfortunately.
The hadith says: له أجران , he will have a double reward ( and not he will have twice THAT reward ), as you know are all good deeds rewarded inshaa Allah and in this hadith the prophet- sallallahu alayhi wa sallam- informs us that he who has difficulty in reading the Quran will have a double reward ( or is reward is doubled) as opposed to the one who can read the Quran average. Further the prophet- sallallahu alayhi wa sallam - informs us in this hadith that he who excels in reciting the Quran will have an ever better reward than just a double reward, he wil be in the company of the angels. You see the meaning is (completely ) different this way. Because someone clever could say : if this is the case that a bad reciter has double the reward of the one that excels in reciting , why trying to improve your recitation in the first place? And also often can one only excel in something after hardship and patience and a lot of practice.

Before you get misled any further just read the following and be honest with yourself
Remember this is just a few good reasons why you should get out of the cult before it is too late as you will be subjugated and have 2nd class status
There are many more but I think this should be enough
Qur'an (4:34) - "Men are the maintainers of women because Allah has made some of them to excel others and because they spend out of their property; the good women are therefore obedient, guarding the unseen as Allah has guarded; and (as to) those on whose part you fear desertion, admonish them, and leave them alone in the sleeping-places and beat them; then if they obey you, do not seek a way against them; surely Allah is High, Great."
      • Qur'an (4:11) - (Inheritance) "The male shall have the equal of the portion of two females" (see also verse 4:176). In Islam, sexism is mathematically established.
      • Qur'an (2:282) - (Court testimony) "And call to witness, from among your men, two witnesses. And if two men be not found then a man and two women."
      • Qur'an (2:228) - "and the men are a degree above them [women]"
      • Qur'an (2:223) - "Your wives are as a tilth unto you; so approach your tilth when or how ye will..."
      • Qur'an (4:3) - (Wife-to-husband ratio) "Marry women of your choice, Two or three or four" Inequality by numbers.
      • Qur'an (4:24) and Qur'an (33:50) - A man is permitted to take women as sex slaves outside of marriage.
      • Bukhari (2:28) - Women comprise the majority of Hell's occupants. This is important because the only women in heaven ever mentioned by Muhammad are the virgins who serve the sexual desires of men. (A weak Hadith, Kanz al-`ummal, 22:10, even suggests that 99% of women go to Hell).
      • Bukhari (62:81) - "The Prophet said: "'The stipulations most entitled to be abided by are those with which you are given the right to enjoy the (women's) private parts (i.e. the stipulations of the marriage contract).'" In other words, the most important thing a woman brings to marriage is between her legs.
      • Bukhari (62:58) - A woman presents herself in marriage to Muhammad, but he does not find her attractive, so he "donates" her on the spot to another man.
      • Muslim (4:1039) - "A'isha said [to Muhammad]: 'You have made us equal to the dogs and the asses'"
      • Abu Dawud (2:704) - "...the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) said: When one of you prays without a sutrah, a dog, an ass, a pig, a Jew, a Magian, and a woman cut off his prayer, but it will suffice if they pass in front of him at a distance of over a stone's throw."
      • Abu Dawud (2155) - Women are compared to slaves and camels with regard to the "evil" in them.

      • Ishaq 593 - "As for Ali, he said, 'Women are plentiful, and you can easily change one for another.'"
      • Ishaq 593 - "From the captives of Hunayn, Allah's Messenger gave [his son-in-law] Ali a slave girl called Baytab and he gave [future Caliph] Uthman a slave girl called Zaynab and [future Caliph] Umar another."
      • Al-Tirmidhi 3272 - "When Allah's Messenger was asked which woman was best he replied, 'The one who pleases (her husband) when he looks at her, obeys him when he gives a command, and does not go against his wishes regarding her person or property by doing anything of which he disapproves'."
      • Tabari VIII:117 - The fate of more captured farm wives, whom the Muslims distributed amongst themselves as sex slaves: "Dihyah had asked the Messenger for Safiyah when the Prophet chose her for himself... the Apostle traded for Safiyah by giving Dihyah her two cousins. The women of Khaybar were distributed among the Muslims."
      • Tabari IX:137 - "Allah granted Rayhana of the Qurayza to Muhammad as booty."
      • Ishaq 969 - "Men were to lay injunctions on women lightly, for they were prisoners of men and had no control over their persons."
      • Tabari Vol 9, Number 1754 - "Treat women well, for they are [like] domestic animals with you and do not possess anything for themselves."
A traditional Islamic saying is that, "A woman's heaven is beneath her husband's feet." One of the world's most respected Quran commentaries explains that, "Women are like cows, horses, and camels, for all are ridden." (Tafsir al-Qurtubi)
The revered Islamic scholar, al-Ghazali, who has been called 'the greatest Muslim after Muhammad,' writes that the role of a Muslim woman is to "stay at home and get on with her sewing. She should not go out often, she must not be well-informed, nor must she be communicative with her neighbors and only visit them when absolutely necessary; she should take care of her husband... and seek to satisfy him in everything... Her sole worry should be her virtue... She should be clean and ready to satisfy her husband's sexual needs at any moment." [as quoted from Ibn Warraq]
There are dozens of examples aside from what is laid out here. At best, Islam elevates the status of a woman to somewhere between that of a camel and a man.
Muhammad captured women in war and treated them as a tradable commodity. The immutable, ever-relevant Qur'an explicitly permits women to be kept as sex slaves. These are hardly things in which Muslims can take pride.
Allah's Apostle said, "If a husband calls his wife to his bed (i.e. to have sexual relation) and she refuses and causes him to sleep in anger, the angels will curse her till morning." (Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 54, Number 460)
Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: By Him in Whose Hand is my life, when a man calls his wife to his bed, and she does not respond, the One Who is in the heaven is displeased with her until he (her husband) is pleased with her. (Sahih Muslim, Book 008, Number 3367)

If by purgatory you mean expiation of sins as a way of cleansing then yes it does exist because there will be those who get transfered from hell to heaven but never the other way around. Theres also an intermediary stage between life and the day of judgment which is ofteb referred to as the life in the grave which can also be like purgatory,

We do have a purgatory, too in a sense. You could say, it will be our life in the grave. Yes, that is so true. I think if people actually tried they would understand it themselves, too. But, as you probably already know 5% of the people think, 10% think they think, and the other 85% would rather die than think. Sure, we may not necessarily understand everything else that relates to the Aya or sign as to when it was revealed and in what circumstances , but the whole idea is thst the Quran is timeless and can apply to many other similar situations.

I know that some people say this, even some scholars, that the punishment in البرزخ / albarzkh( period of time between Ressurection Day and life on earth , also called the life in the grave) for sinners that Allah subhanahu has not forgiven yet is a purgatory. Also the fact that some sinners will go to hell temporarily is a purgatory according to some people.
But i did a long time ago research on this belief topic and did nowhere find any proof for this, on the contrary the authentic hadiths do only point out that the cleansing and purifying will take place once taken out of punishment and not because of punishment. But the punishments on earth are for Muslims a cleansing and purification if they do not get angry at God and have patience, and if they use the punishment on earth as a means of repentance than it's even a complete good. Allah knows best.

Peace on to u sister malihan ,
I would like to give u 2 advice,
    1. Islam is perfect , Muslims are not so don't let the ignorance of some Muslims drive u away from the truth and u will find a lot of them in ur journey please pardon their ignorance .
    2. Islam is ocean of knowledge like a cake if u try to eat it all at once u get sick but if u take it bite by bite u will enjoy it , however if the fundamentals are clear to u embrace the truth by reciting the testimony of Faith , and the rest of the knowledge take ur time based on ur capability.

Hi sister, I have recently discovered your videos and I want to share with you some informations I get from a big Egyptian scolar (Omar Abdou Kafi... Hearing from men ho knows the intricacies of the arabic language is a step higher). In sourah Lukman when it says that he is the o e ho knows the our and he brings down the saving rain(in the opposite he can brings the destructive deluge) with a precise quantity just enough to give life because some scientists can say we are able to produce rain. And when he says that he knows what is in the whooms scientists can say we know if fetus is a male or female but Allah knows what can this fetus be a mahatma Gandhi or an Adolphe Hitler, Allah is all knowing all wise.

We do have a concept of purgatory. It's called barzaark. You experience it from the grave. It is the period between death and the day if Judgement.

Your recitation in Arabic has improved. Some letters in the Arabic language has no alias in English, therefore, it will be very difficult for a person like you to pronounce them and you need a lot of practice (ex. Letter ع and ح). The best way to learn Quran recitation is to do it infront of a person (who is going to correct you). This person is prefered to be a one who has gained "ijaza" which is some kind of a certificate given by a person who already has it from another person... Until the series reaches prophet Mohammad. It is prefered that this supposed teacher who has the "ijaza" to have his first language the Arabic language

Salam sis, I agree, your here not please people but Allah. Your are reading the Words of Allah and Allah alone knows the true mening and the wisdom in it. So seek only from Him and never rely on other peoples interpration. It is their own undertanding of the Quran based on their own life experience and sometimes even culture. I have heard and seen alot of interpration that is misleading. The reason Allah gave us minds is to reflect and that is clear in the Quran. So keep going and exploring the Words of Allah. Allah SWT did indeed bestowed on you a great wisdom and knowledge and we are greatfull that you are giving us the oppurnity to learn, gain knowledge and grow in faith with you.
Your arabic Quran recitation is very impresive Subhanallah, Please recite more the Arabic, we really do enjoy it. Lots of love
    Your devoted student❤

The quran explains itself and is revealed so that we ponder upon it. It is self explanatory, and it is for all humanity.
Regarding the verse about walking moderately. God knows best but I think the verse means not to walk with arrogance
Another verse that further explains that.
"And do not walk upon the earth exultantly. Indeed, you will never tear the earth [apart], and you will never reach the mountains in height."

Couldn't say it better than what you said at 12:00.
Tafsiir books can help to give context to a lot of verses (especially the ones that contain social order commands), but I want to emphasize that you should always reflect and think yourself about the verses too (like the way you are doing).
On the other hand, I would say it would be much more beneficial to invest more time in learning Arabic and read the Quran in Arabic, because unfortunately sometimes the translation just doesn't feel right.
PS: Your Arabic pronunciation is definitely getting better and better :)
