G’day Eddie. Oh my god, I’m pissing myself with that comment “Chicken in the background”. I was waiting for you to break out in song 🎶 playing “Devil went to Georgia” (Chicken in a bread pan pickin' out dough).
Man that thing eats rebar for breakfast. Great review and explanation Eddie. Cheers 🍻. Aaron
PS: nice one welding them back together again
Lol. Those little f'ers can be quiet all day but as soon as I press record they start making noise. More like chicken in a frying pan, sizzling in dough😤. It was only recently that chickens were allowed in the city limits and I was all for it until all my neighbors decided to keep old macdonald's farm.
Thanks, these vids are a bit tough because I want to give them a real test but have fun with it at the same time. Best!
You are going to weld that together? 😂
I had a bit fun with the review of this cutter, but a few notes I should mention.
--I did lose some oil taking the motor apart. But I did make sure that it was topped off and I bled the system before using it again, all of which is explained in the manual. Like any hydraulic system, running this thing low on fluid and/or not cleaning/maintaining it, will kill it.
--After a CSI review of the video it was the tubing that finished off one edge of that cutter. It is not designed to cut, it is designed to shear and break. The cutters do not even overlap as there is a small gap at full extension.
--The ram automatically retracts at full extension if the trigger is released.
--I did get the rebar welded back together and sold them to a local company that specializes in dam building so no worries there.
All the best!
Eddie
Good video Eddie... It seems to work well and I cant imagine anyone would make 100 consecutive cuts... See you next time
Thanks Paul!
It looks good inside and out. Some grip texture would be nice I agree. Overall it looks like a win.
Its not bad for a worksite tool. No reason it should not last if it is maintained.
@@theeddies Put a chicken bone in it and do Loan Shark Simulator.
What if I just decapitate an actual chicken on youtube with it, too much? Farming Simulator IRL

Told ya cable could/would jam it.
Yeah, it just cannot shear all the strands. Glad I did not try larger cable, it might have jammed worse.
Great one Eddie8-)
Thanks Bill! It means a lot.
Awesome
It is a cool tool. Thanks!
