Then his officers told him that those are the martyrs who slap the soldiers who sleep on their duty. If u have no duty and alewp then no one slaps u. I guess its the martyrs trying to warn the soldiers to wake up.

I went all these places in Gangtok in 2012 ,very amazing place.lt feels like we are in a different world .When we r going up we saw water falling from the mountains and when we were coming from Nathulla ,we saw snow fall,it feels like dream came true all the water of the mountain turned into ice ,roads r full of ice but our Indian Army is very helpful, they cleared the roads for us, salute to them ,overall it was a grt experience

The only difference is that I no longer remember the exact lines but he did. That's how the generations turned out to be. It was named after MVC Jaswant Rawat from Garhwal regiment
