Just got into the game a week or so ago (floor 4-5). Thanks for the tips! *Edit:* Floor 5-6 now. Bursts are still hard for me to predict, but I'm slowly learning to feel when the best time to burst is so that I can do / counter them, more effectively.
You probably don't remember me but I learned fighting games from watching your channel around strive release (Lost to a faust like 20 times in a row in the park). I'm still going strong, got to floor 9 on May then only as high as 8 on Baiken recently thanks to your video. Whenever I need something I swear there's a vid on this channel that explains it better than any other video on the same topic. You're the best teacher I coulda hoped, you do really good work and deserve that kinda recognition.
I got into fighting games through strive and I'm 4 months into the game but there are situations where I have no clue what to do.. Like sometimes the opponent Ramlethal just destroys me 3-0 and I have no idea whats even happening
I'm bouncing between floors 7 and 8 and most people are just idiots like me. Often we'll just stand there throw whiffing each other 2-3 times in a row. I suspect this whole baiting bursts thing doesn't apply to my world, lol.
Once you reach a specific level of skill, you can unexpectedly lose rounds to newer players, because they don't play the game "like they're supposed to". They do all sorts of random shit that makes no sense, can't find patterns to exploit, you can't predict their next move, it's like the have the favor of the Chaos Gods on their side.
PRCing a burst is a hard read. Meaning you were bursting at predictable times. This usually happens when you burst on low health, burst as soon as you get hit with a big juicy counter hit, or are mashing burst while you are in recovery of a highly punishable move. Either way, he was just simply reading you properly.

me in floor 7 without knowing what a burst or a roman cancel is and not understanding why they´re important
hey do you have an updated discord link? it says that the one in your summary is expired :/
Wait if you ch a jump cancelable move such as c.s can't you just ground block the burst?
I’m coming here after having an Axl perfectly PRC’d all of my bursts in our 3 matches together. I still don’t understand how that happened

Nevermind my dumbass, he just PRC’d and backed away; rollback or lag probably made me think he canceled my burst with a PRC.
Ah okay lol
I hope to see more exciting videos like this one in the near future!!! Your best option is to make an account with P-R-O-M-O-S-M!!!
