One thing I didn't like about the show was how Quinn didn't die in the first season, but I didn't mind too much. But I didn't like how he gave his son a chance to clip him and he didn't do it! That really ruined the show right there. And I also disliked how Quinn killed the lead Baron's daughters and the Widow didn't care. You know, how she let herself slowly start to get all corrupted. Another criticism I have for the show was how Sonny girlfriend got killed on the end. That was unnecessary and uncalled for, and could've been avoided easily. And I also didn't like how Quinn's son kicked Lydia back out like that. I was glad Tilda was ok though! And I also really enjoyed how Baji's character was greatly expanded upon so well. And the Abbots were kind of interesting as well. Overall, this was a pretty good show! Awesome job guys!
this is perfect review/commentary about Season 2, I wanted a recap before watching Season 3 and it seems there isn't one so this is as close to one as there is
Thank you so much for watching I LOVE this show and Season 3 is finally here! So excited! Feel free to hit that subscribe button because I'll eventually be reviewing Season 3 too!
Hey man these reviews are awesome!! I’m about to finish season 3 off of Netflix and holy cow this show reignited my love for action movies!! Yea the Kung fu is a little over the top at times but I see it as they’re just having fun with it because it’s such a fun show! The characters. The costumes. The sets. I keep telling my girl that this show is pretty much a live action anime, with how many hits the main characters take and how they fly around the sets. The dialogue leaves something to be desired but you’re in the wrong genre if you want to prioritize dialogue over action in an action show. Love the review! Got a sub out of me bro keep it up! Looking forward to watching more of your content
Nice review man, But for me S1 was better than S2. It being my personal favorite, and having a more simpler and personal story, about a good man trying to get out off a bad situation. I know from your S1 review you weren't a Hugh fan about everything in it. MK, Quinn and his family, etc. But i personally enjoyed all off that. And found most of it to be on point, though not a perfect season, it definitely handled things better. Plus the fights weren't so over the top and at time's pretty grounded, which i liked. And when they were over the top, it was done with good editing. Though Season 2 isn't bad by any means, it was just *WAY* more cheesier, and not as focused as the 1st season, though it made up with more character and world building, and also some interesting themes/cool moments. But the fights were for the most part *WAY* to much. And honestly was pretty damn ridiculous at times. Including the ending which was both great (like sunny going FULL Savage, cutting off limbs left and right) and plan bad (Quinn taking 2-3 stabs through the chest, and veils stupid death) and the fight between Sunny and Quinn was kinda average, really no different than sunny vs moon or the widow, there just wasn't any emotions or enough emotion in the fight. But In the end there's definitely more in S2, But not all off it was great. Which is honestly a bummer.... Season 3 (so far) - Kinda a mix off both, cheesy at times but still has interesting moments, great dialogue but also with some bad ones. Over the top kung fu fighting style, but is done with good camera shot's and editing, but is still To over the top at times. Well if anything the new and interesting characters is what's making this season better than S2 in my opinion.
I'm really enjoying Season 3 so far, and I think you make some valid points about Season 2. Yea the fights in Season 2 stylistically were a bit too much. I think most of the fights in Season 3 are back to formula, and the story has been intriguing with alot of compelling character arcs (except for MK) I'm hopeful they finish strong. Thanks for watching!
+Superfan K hey thanks for writing back, And i totally agree Season 3 has been very enjoyable so far. Though not perfect, it's definitely bring the show back on track. Also don't get me wrong i don't hate S2 or anything, and honestly thought it has some of the best moments and episodes in the whole show. But i believe it suffered or wasn't as focused as the 1st season, because off the writers wanting to do/add "More" to everything. Which isn't always a bad thing, more character growth was great, but in the end the fights did suffered because of that. To much editing and slow-mo, made most main fights feel all the same or more cheesier. And their was more fighting in each Episode, but most felt pretty forced or had weak reasons for sunny to fight 10-20 guys each time. Where in S1 their was only one major fight per Episode, but each fight always made sense to the overall story. But like i said S3 has been a mix off both S1-2. The fights are more grounded and madder more to the story like in S1 but still at times, some filler fights and some cheese over the top kung fu. Which is better than just every fight being over the top. The new main characters in S3 have been great pilgrim and his family dynamic has been really interesting to watch, honesty one of the best "villains" in the show. he's portrayed the same way the widow was portrayed in the first season, as the main villain but with noble goals. Though the ending of the mid-season might have just made him just evil... bummer.
Nice review, although you left out some things that I would've liked to remember before season 3, like Bajie being connected to Minerva, and some stuff from the last episode
Another fantastic video! Thank you!!
“Kick an entire room full of ass” LOL 👍🏻

Creators would get a healthy stream of viewers if more reviewers do what alt shift does for the GOT scene
I wanted a simple recap too and can’t believe I couldn’t find one! I watch the show but my memory SUCKS lol
You really should structure your reviews as recaps you will get a lot more views.
You mean like put Recap in the title?
