Have been using the Wireframe modifier in a very basic way for a few months now This tutorial has definitely helped to improve how I use it.......thanks very much. I`ve had Blender idling on various computers for quite a few years now but its your tutorials that have gotten me to make full use of it at last!
Nice modifier, THX. I see that the cross-section of the resulting beams of the mesh is diamond-shaped. Orthogonal cross sections are not supported. To get the latter for windows, for example, you would have to make subdivide face and inset from each subface and extrude inwards. Is there a simpler method similar to wireframe?
I like to create geomentry to shape my quads into creative four sided shapes. I can diffenantly use Blender 3.0 to my advantage to create some the most photorealistic 3D models, animations, and visual effects. This makes it easier to understand than Autodesk Maya. Thank you for helping keeping my high-functioning autism brain foucsed on going creative 3D Models in Blender.
Good job and thats fine and all but how do i get the maximum draw type like in the earlier versions? I just need to simplify a scene without having to reassign materials.
I am finding this modyfier very poorly developed, the essence of it should be adding colour individualy to vertex and segments, not good for motion grafics, pure make up this one.
ah, also, that the modyfier is only visible in object mode....???...finding many issues with jumps form edit to object mode in general with blender. very poor modyfier ://
Hi everyone! Have any questions about the wireframe modifier? Leave a comment below and let me know! :)
how do you make each individual wireframe round? Like if i want to make wireframe net for car windshield In most cases which is round.

Thank You man.. Learned Sketchup, Vray, Twinmotion from your videos.. And now Blender💯💯

Just got to take the time and sit down and practice! (I know that sounds easier than it is in real life ;p )
Also looks like a quick way to create inset paneling for models like sci-fi capital ships. Nice tutorial! Thanks, Justin.
When I wireframe a cube it only gives faces on the edges it has no depth even if I increase the width only gets longer till it closes in not wider?
I could see wireframe + subdivision being used for some gross horrory stuff. Just what I need. Great vid!

Absolutely amazing! This really helps me for an organic-tech look!
Hi, nice video, can you make the wireframe cylindrical without the creases?
thanks ur tutorials are always simplified
great job 👏 keep going

Great video.
Thanks fot the video ! it is possible to give geometry to the vertices also ? as like Cinema 4D Atom Array Effect
Thanks a lot for the information. There were several things about this that I didn't know. Thanks again
What if I need round or other profile? :)
Is it possible to create wireframe with circular cross section.
Does anyone know how to generate this wireframe throughout the interior of a model? To create 'cells' throughout a model.
Thank you very much this video help me alot to understand wire frame modifier
Has anyone experienced applying the wireframe modifier and the mesh flattening? It does not seem to retain the volume upon applying the modifier :(
Very cool tutorial. Thank you.
great tutorial, thank you for uploading
Thanks again, sir.
amazing! thanks a lot
Glad you liked it!
great tutorial thanks
Glad it was helpful!
Great video:)
Thanks!
thankyou so helpfull

I think you might need to read up on how modifiers work. You're supposed to see the base geometry in edit mode so you can change it...
That intro is cringe
love your videos but that intro is super cringe and painful to watch
