nahida isn't the previous dendro archon but a branch of irminsul
So what about greater lord Rukkhdevata

Am I the only one confused with the nation's big three sections? (No hate to the creator at all). Sumeru ane Monstat are pretty accurate, however Inazuma and Liyue confuse me. So first Liyue:
Ganyu and Xiao make sense, no complaints there, but Hu Tao? If we're talking meta, sure, but lore wise (which this video is) definitely not. Lore wise she is a normal girl with a less than normal job and an eccentric personality. Someone like Shenhe would fit a lot better, maybe even Yelan (maybe even Beidou or Baizhu). Shenhe literally can pick up the entire (forgot what it was exactly but big stone for the jade chamber) one handed without any issue. And she's human.
Okay ane now Inazuma, Kazuha sure, no complaints there. But Yoimia and Ayaka? Lore wise I'd say Yae Miko, Kujo Sara or Kokomi. Even Itto would be a great choice (thinking of the interlude quest in the chasm, he literally punched through a wall sealed by Adeptal magic that Xiao couldn't even get through by pure strength alone.)
Idk it's my opinion but sometimes I feel like everyone gets too caught up in the meta of the game and ignore the actual character traits and lore when making those lists (unless the point was meta but even then Yoimia probably wouldn't make the list).
Again no hate to the maker of this video it just doesn't sit right with me. (Also in Monstat Albedo or Lisa or even Klee could fit)
Hu Tao is there because usually the main three is always
Cryo anemo and pyro
Also due to her close relationship with zhongli and the fact most of the community sees her as having a sibling like relationship wh xiao

You have to know that the big three aren't based off of lore entirely
Not only were kazuha Ayaka and yoimiya the first few inazuma 5 stars
They were all pretty well liked
So it's not surprising they'd be considered the big three
If you think about it so far most of the big threes were all their respective nations first few 5 stars
So the big threes are usually chosen with this criteria in order
-when were they released
-their elements
-how good they are in game
And lastly
-their lore and importance to the main archon quest
Now for why the characters you mention weren't chosen,
Albedo and Klee were not that relevant in the mondstadt archon quest nor are they that meta game wise.
Lisa is not even close to meta and even though her lore itself is pretty interesting and she's an incredibly powerful character lore wise, she was only relevant for like the start of the mondstadt archon quest.
Though I adore itto to bits he simply wasn't that important in the archon quest.
Now yae miko was important to the lore but she's not meta,
Was one of the last inazuma characters to be released,
And by the time she came out the big 3 had already been established and there was no point in trying to change it due to fact the already chosen big 3 were pretty darn good.
Now kokomi is difficult because I do agree that she deserves to be apart of the big three due to her importance and status.
I assume she simply wasn't chosen for the same reasons as miko
The big 3 was already establised,
And when she released she wasnt well liked as no one saw her potential in the meta, so of course they wouldn't make her apart of the big 3 when the big 3 already had the 3 most liked characters that were released.
Kujou Sara is a 4 star.
The big 3 is usually the main 5stars it would be weird to include her.
Now beidou tho lore wise has some pretty strong feats.
She simply isn't relevant enough
She had close to no appearances in the archon quest,
Hell she was barely even in the inazuma one.
She isn't that meta gameplay wise, and again she's a 4 star.
Now yelan, shenhe and baizhu are all characters who came out long after the archon quest for liyue ended.
Yelan and shenhe weren't even in the archon quest at all.
Though lore wise shenhe is pretty powerful and could be considered one of the strongest humans if not the strongest(physically)
She really isn't that important to the lore nor is she that meta.
Yelan is both strong and talented in lore but again she wasn't relevant at all to the archon quest.
And though she is meta,
Again the liyue top 3 had long been established and there would be no point in changing it.
Now baizhu is an interesting character lore wise but he's not powerful at all and currently has no feats. (atleast none I know of)
He wasn't that relevant to the archon quest,
And isn't that meta in game.
Hopefully my small rant doesn't come off as rude 😔
I am simply stating reasons why the current big threes are who they are and why none of the characters you mention were chosen as it's big three
@@kkorii5924 you don't sound rude at all, I know I'd definitely be missing things as I only started playing in the second half of 3.2 (though I did try and follow what was going on in the game before that). It just confused me is all, and I guess that the pyro, Anemo, cryo theme works. Idk, I guess the writer in me probably just looked at what would make sense story wise first before theming.

Nahida is actually a branch from the irminsul
And Rukkhadeveta is the tree, but since she was corrupted from (if I remember correctly) the forbidden knowledge, she took the purest branch and replanted it, thus giving birth to the Dendro Archon we know, Nahida.

Rukkdevata and Kusanali are not the same....im pretty sure Rukkdevata created kusanali which is Nahida from a branch of irminsul.
