Nothing like some good apostolic preaching it gets down below the surface and into revelation of the Word of God
This message from God hit me in a few ways. Number one: we need to be ever so careful when we are talking to others. We can not tell people we heard from God when we haven't. It will distract them from what God is telling them. They could be young in their walk with God.
Second: no matter how spiritually mature we are, if God has spoken to us we absolutely must follow the will of the Lord. This is a reminder to constantly seek God and his kingdom first every single moment of our lives! I never want to be deceived by a false teacher.
What a powerful sermon. There was a time that church would have raised the carpet up under that anointed preaching.
Today is the day the Lord has made to spread His message to us for His Glory. Yield to His touch in your life. 🙏🏼

The thing about convictions and what God actually told the young prophet… is convictions aren’t scripture. The Word of the Lord is.
Personal convictions aren’t scripture, they’re personal. Peer pressure is personal, the need to fit in is personal; it’s not scripture.

The Bible says women should not preach. But what do you care what the Bible says?
Word to the wise. Don’t listen to the old prophet no matter how hard he tries to convince you with his lies. He may be a prophet, and God may speak through him, but he doesn’t have your best interest at heart. He’s lying to you.
That’s what happens in the Bible, the context from which the words to this message title come.
1 Kings 13:18 - ESV
And he said to him, “I also am a prophet as you are, and an angel spoke to me by the word of the LORD, saying, ‘Bring him back with you into your house that he may eat bread and drink water.’” But he lied to him.
It’s embarrassing how much this dude has added to what the Bible actually says. Take Heed to the Scripture and not his mythologies.
Take heed. The lying prophet is the one who said he “wanted to be buried with the bones of the prophet”. How is this Christian advice?

This is not how Jesus taught, for "when Jesus finished these sayings (at Matt chpts 5-7), the effect was that the crowds were astounded at his way of teaching, for he was teaching them as a person having authority, and not as their scribes" that fed the common Jews spiritual "crumbs", as Jesus outlined at Luke 16:19-31.
