Dropping from orbit in a bullet-shaped pod with another 3 dudes equally as crazy as you to kill some aliens with almost unlimited weapon power is DEFINITELY the male fantasy and I'M SO DOWN FOR IT
What would be even more epic is if the devs include a feature where you might be close to completing your mission but are also about to be over run by the enemy and you can send out a distress call to you fellow helldivers in the servers for reinforcements. Then once activated, everyone on that server gets a message in all caps and red say “Fellow Hell Divers Needs Your Support” then you click yes or no. If no, then you go about your original mission. But if you select yes, you and at least 10 other Divers are sent down at once to help out. Just Imagine the load screen with 10+ Hellpods throat punching the planets atmosphere all at once on their way to backup the boys and securing the W………..FUCKING CHILLS BRO!!!
Always wished that I could hear my Helldiver hooting and hollering during a dive. The Aliens audio fits perfectly. Maybe make the cheering louder but this is perfect.
I tried making it more distinguishing from the other audio samples but wasn't able to for the output. In premiere it's clear. But I'm not a sound guy so the output in RUclips it isn't as defined
I dont like the loud noise it makes when the hellpods drop, its way better as it is Also i think it will feel a lot better if you can only hear military/professional talk instead of those hyped screams Good work tho
The screams comes from the scene in Aliens where they drop to the surface. It's not really a scream and more of a cowboy type yell. Just search Aliens dropship scene and you will see the character Hudson. The drop sound comes from that scene as well.
I do agree that the noise is a bit too loud, but it does fit nicely. Also, when the guy talks or yeehaws, it would be great if it were a bit more muffled and with some static, as if being one helldiver that just opened comms. Another suggestion: adding the Halo ODST line "we are green, and very, very mean!" just before the drop would be amazing IMO.
@@shane3478 Haven't heard your original video - it seemed like the "Audio Corrected" subtitle was a commentary on the original audio from the game. Which, from the standpoint of an audio professional, is objectively much better than this. I appreciate the creativity of the addition though! It's just not mixed very well.
@danieldavismusic I'm no audio professional for sure. I just wanted to add in Hudson from Aliens and add a little bit of comms chatter. I made it because I really do like the original game version of a loading screen and just wanted to add a little flare to it.
