Oh man, I wish I could show you the pictures of us riding that same kind of taxi when we were there a couple of years ago. My family still laughs at me. They thought it was great fun, I thought it was a near death experience lol

We enjoyed Magen's Bay on our vow renewal cruise in 2019... really relaxing... was so relaxed that I looked over from my beach chair and saw a lil iguana friend chillin' out there too 🦎👀That lookout point is epic! Back on the ship and time for Thanksgiving Dinner is definitely a different vibe 😂"You can have it now that you put your hands all over it"😂 Gotta love the kids when they do that!😂😂
Yes Magens Bay was beautiful and we enjoyed every bit of it. It was a little crowded, but it's the most popular. I (Rai) do not know how thrilled I would have been seeing that iguana lol. Yes, thanksgiving on the Highseas was a different kind of time to have. The food was.... no comment!
Thanksgiving cruising is a great idea! I start taking Bonine a day before boarding and through the cruise, I also wear the ReliefBand.

Lived on St Thomas for more than 30 years. I think Megan's Bay is a over rated tourist trap. More expensive also. 🌴Any other of the beaches would be better. But just my opinion. Lindbergh or Brewers Bay are much closer. No charge at all. Full restaurant Emerald Beach hotel and food trucks down at Brewers. Plus not so busy. You wouldn't be waiting. Sapphire, Coki ,Lindqvist, Secret Harbour, or even go over to Water Island. All free and less expensive taxi ride. Try it out next time. 🌴🤗
