Passage on ferry MOBY AKI, Livorno-Olbia (Moby Lines)

MOBY AKI was constructed at Fincantieri in Ancona, launched on April 7, 2004, and officially handed over to its owners on May 12, 2005. Since then, the MOBY AKI has been a reliable vessel on the Livorno-Olbia (Italy) route.
The MOBY AKI is the third in a series of four ferries built by the Italian shipyard Fincantieri in Ancona and Daewoo in Okpo. Its exterior and interior designs are inspired by Warner Bros.-Comics (Looney Tunes), which is a trademark feature of the shipping company. The last sister ship, formerly the MOBY FREEDOM, has since been sold to Eckerö Line.
The MOBY AKI can carry 700 vehicles and 2,080 passengers. The ferry provides comfortable accommodations even for such a relatively short voyage. The ship boasts 320 cabins, junior suites for up to four people, an à la carte restaurant, a solarium, and a swimming pool. A three-story panoramic deck is located on the front structure beneath the bridge, providing stunning views of the sea.
This crossing brought me an incredible dining experience when I ended up ordering (accidentally) the most expensive ferry meal I've ever had. A chicken schnitzel, fries, mayonnaise, yogurt, a chocolate mousse, and a canned soft drink cost me a jaw-dropping total of €30.70! 🍗🍟🍮 This definitely added a unique twist to the journey (minute 15:35).
There was also a near-accident moment during the departure. As I was backing down a hanging deck ramp, I found some railing supports were in the way, which I couldn't see due to the downward angle. It served as a reminder to always stay vigilant, even when leaving the ship.
