I just received her henna in the mail. I use it to dye my grays as well. I’m excited to use it when I have a minute to myself. I recommend mixing it with watery warm flax seed gel for moisture and slip.
How do you use it as a dye? I am wanting to do this. I like the red tints it leaves me and would love to have like a mahogany red type of color. Do you have any suggestions? Are the color hennas safe? They sell henna specifically to dye hair (like mahogany, red wine, brown, etc) it’s like the hair dye kits…are those safe? Any advice is much appreciated 🙏🏽🖤
Gurrrlll I’m so glad I found you! I’m a real estate broker too! However I also am a long time user of henna and have been following her henna regimen for 9 years! I’ve been out of the loop and just found out this product was released 11 or more months ago! Subscribed looking forward to watching your content.
@@YummyCandiCollection aww darl you don’t have to be funny to keep people on your videos, just be yourself and keep uploading. I'm going to keep going for sure. I've been researching how to make better thumbnails, keywords and I will always be myself. My audience will come eventually but I thank YOU for contributing to my watch time. Hoping to get monitized soon 🤞🏾
Great video, but you shouldn't use anything metallic with henna. Plus oils is fine with henna if you don't use it for color just as you did but for your indigo try to avoid adding oils as it can prevent the color from getting into the shaft of your hair. Hope this helps :)
Henna significantly damaged my hair and I used " jamila " from Amazon which was a brand she personally reccomended before she launched her brand . It gave me an overload and damaged my hair. Had to do a mini chop last year . Now I'm scared to ever use henna again. Will be sticking to other herbs.for now .
Oh wow really!?!? I've been using henna for years and never had a problem. I only used 2 brands...Nupur or Curly Proverbz. I've never heard of Jamila brand...sorry to hear that.
@@YummyCandiCollection yea Jamila is a classic Og of henna but the thing with Ayurveda is that sellers may put fillers and other particles in these powders and we not know . That's my only guess .
@@Fashionpreneurondemand I heard that some sellers use fillers. I did a ton of research on brands before I got in to Ayurveda herbs. I only used Nupur until CP dropped hers.
@YummyCandiCollection I was surprised u said you have no measurements bc that's how my curls loosed so much bcus I was using way too much henna . Cp was not clear in alot of her videos about measurements which is why alot of lpl had set backs from henna . Now I finally know she used 1-2 tbsp when I didn't know that originally.
I’m so jealous of your full edges! Thanks for the demo ! As opposed to letting the mask sit for 3/4 hours prior to application, what if I just leave the mask in my hair for 3/4 hours ? Would I still get the benefits?
Yes...you'd still get the benefits if you leave on up to 4 hours 🥰 my edges were not always this full due to wig combs ripping them out. I've been using my own hair growth oil on my edges for 1.5 years 🙌🏾
@@labellechose3 LOL ❤️ I do sell my products. I have an entire haircare line and multiple wash day tutorials on my channel using them. The link is in the description box 🥰

Hi! Thank you for watching ❤️ When using high quality henna you can use metal or stainless steel. If you do follow Curly Proverbz you’ll see that she uses metal spoons from time to time. It’s about the quality of the henna and what’s in it that would cause a negative reaction. Henna Sooq also have a video on their channel explaining why you can use metal. I personally have never had an issue but of course do what's best for you.
LOL 🤣 I understand the struggle. I would love for someone else to do my hair as well. I think that I'm going to try a fenugreek, amla and aloe vera mask next 🤔

@@mercedezz Those are mostly chemical ridden products though. Definitely Not the same as REAL henna.
