🚩1 - It is highly unethical for a psychiatrist to therapize a family member

  • @puffradical

"These are two psychiatrists, couldn't they talk it out?" No, sir, that would be therapists 😂

She’s a cruel person to take advantage of someone with obviously mental health problems. It’s sickening

If she had nothing to do with it, why didn’t she flip out through text messages once he text her with a bloody selfie asking what he should do?! Anyone else would be like wtf 😳

This is the clearest case of grooming and exploitation of a vulnerable person I've seen in a while.

This woman got off too easily. She ruined this young man's life and as a psychiatrist no less. She traumatized her ex boyfriend and probably her son too. No scruples at all. She's the one who needs a psychiatrist. What a horrible shame

I've been binge watching 48 Hours on RUclips for the past couple days, and it's gratifying to see an intended victim survive for once. I'm so glad Dr. Weiss survived this attack. I'm so so sorry this happened to him.

First of all, she shouldn’t have been treating a family member. That’s where this went wrong.

A mother who truly loves her son would not want his father murdered.

The fact that she had her passports in her bags as they arrested her says a lot !!!!! She was ready to try and escape

12 years ago, my cousin was in highschool, 17 years old. We live in a country where talk about mental health was taboo at the time. The school had a psychologist that was in her mid thirties. My cousin went to see her as she was struggling at the time, but didn't tell her parents because they didn't believe in psychologists. Time after time, the psychologist got closer and closer to her, it got to the point where she would bring my cousin after school to her house when her husband wasn't at home, and without my cousins parents knowing. The psychologist sexually assaulted her. My cousin never spoke up to her, never spoke about it to the school, or her parents. It was 3 years ago that she had the courage to tell me and my sister. She got traumatized to the point where she didn't get help because she thought that if she did, the other psychologists would do the same thing to her. Moral of the story, we need to educate our children about everything, even when the subject is maybe delicate or ' taboo '.

I love how her attorney states that "There's no question about her love for her son". Lie. She loves her son so much that she wanted to take his father from him. She doesn't love her son. She loves herself.

That selfie was his way of showing his puppeteer that he was able to do what she wanted him to do.

I was listening to this as I was driving, finally a question got asked "why did you buy the sledgehammer?" I don't think a sledgehammer is a very regular purchase for a psychiatrist living in downtown Manhattan.

  • @ameliashostak4764

SOOO many boundaries were crossed here, where do I even begin?!? The fact she was actively treating him while he was living under her roof, watching her son, all the while she had control of just about everything in his life....is mind blowing! It's totally and completely unethical, and down right grooming if I ever saw it. I honestly feel bad for Jake, he's ruined his life, and without Pamela, I believe he wouldn't have hurt anyone.

She absolutely had him do this. There was no reason for her to discuss her life with him. She had all the tools to get him to do this. My nephew off his meds will do anything for anyone and not even think about it. Only on his meds does he have the clarity of his own mind. I feel so bad for him and his parents.
