This is why I love the USMNT. Our guys might not play for the biggest clubs, but they're all hardworking, key players whom the fans absolutely adore.
Steve - great person & mostly underrated player! Go Steve!...
Really seems like he represents us well in Hannover. Steve is the man.
Possibly our next mnt coach
STEVE! ❤
Love Steve!
Hannover 96 is a good sized club, i think they finished 6th in the bundesliga last season !
When I say "biggest clubs," I mean no disrespect to great teams like Hannover 96. I'm just referring to teams like Real Madrid, Barcelona, Man Utd, etc. Teams you could see winning the Champions League now, which don't have any Americans on them.
Cherundolo was never in the MLS, joined Hannover straight out of college
COOL DANKE
So I guess, important to inform Steve personally about this!
Some of them do now!
Altiiiiiiiiin
But Steve plays for the biggest club in europe...
yea well as long as talent leaves the MLS how will it ever be a top 5 league? makes sense to keep American talent inside the MLS so it can develop...
Fair enough, personally i think its only time before there are American's playing for the Real Madrid's, Barca, Utd, Bayern, Chelsea etc10 years ago there were no American players, the MLS has improved American footie no end, it gets better every year. When i was a younger you never even thought of American players now its a reality, each year theres more, this year more than last, i think this trend will continue and its only good for domestic soccer in the US & Canada. Adios amigo !
Not far off.
nice to see American talent actually leaving the MLS. Great league, but people saying it'll be near as good as European leagues are so wrong. It may be in top 10 but never make the top 5.
too bad he plays for one of the most boring cities in germany ;-(
