In my personal opinion, Elvis is alive as long as his movies and music are being celebrated. He is alive in my heart and I can picture him singing and dancing a a live performance. The House that Elvis's Dad Vernon lived in, was either newly built on the 'Graceland' property ?! or it already existed on the 'Graceland' property, as a house where servant's might have lived and stayed during the early days, when rich landowner's had staff and servants serving them back in the early times.? As you can see I am intigued by the history of 'Graceland' and the relationship of the property prior to when the Presley's bought it. I know they honoured a deal with the person they purchased the property from, so that the contract deal could go ahead. Another question relating to the 'Graceland' Property, has some of the property, land been sold to developer's? for land devision to create suburbs near and around Elvis's home 'Gracelsnd'? Reason for this question, after Elvis returned from his time in the army, his Dad married Dee Stanley, so it was appropriate for Vernon and Dee and her sons, to move into the house that was built, or due to land development, Vernon's house ended up outside of 'Graceland'. ,? Yes, that rumor is ridiculous. I've heard that all my life. People will put pictures up and say this person looks like him and he's living on some tropical island. I never met Elvis, but I believe there is no way he would have put his family and especially Lisa Marie through that kind of grief to fake his death. I never thought Elvis was still alive but I always wondered why Elvis’s picture that was taken of him at funeral he looked so much younger than how he looked from his last concert.
My understanding is the quality of the photo was so terrible it was touched up to the point it’s practically a drawing.
Kindly please tell us more about Vernon’s funeral. Where was the service held? Was he buried in same style coffin as Elvis and Gladys? Any photos available of the day- I can’t find any information.

I think he would have gotten rid of all the red decorating of the’70’s because I read that he decided he didn’t like the red after it was done. I read that lamp over the pool table was Lisa’s doing!! Ha! She and her friends were getting wild down there one day and a pool ball got thrown which accidentally hit and chipped that lamp. 😮

An Elvis Fan since 1956, he was my Mum's favourite, so from her playing his records, and we'd go to the theatre's to see his movies, I too quickly became a huge Fan.

A question, when Elvis, and his Mum and Dad bought 'Graceland', I read some information about the contract they signed, which showed that Elvis's middle name Aron, was spelt with the one ( A ) not 2 as a lot of people usually spell it.
Seeing this, told me, that Elvis was given his middle name by his parent's, spelt Aron, so this was intentional and deliberate!
Even though people have made such a huge fuss over the spelling of his name.
So there is a question in there regarding that ?
The other question is regarding that when they purchased 'Graceland' there was a 'Baptist Church' on the land, that they, the Presley's honoured an agreement that allowed the Church and their people, to remain there, using their Church until.such time the Baptist Church decided that they had enough. ?
Another part of the question, because I need to know that the information is correct, but also factual. ?
Also, from memory going back to when I was a teenager, going on into my 20's, that the property of 'Graceland', was a lot larger than it is today ?
The House that Elvis's Dad Vernon lived in, was either newly built on the 'Graceland' property ?! or it already existed on the 'Graceland' property, as a house where servant's might have lived and stayed during the early days, when rich landowner's had staff and servants serving them back in the early times.?
As you can see I am intigued by the history of
'Graceland' and the relationship of the property prior to when the Presley's bought it.
I know they honoured a deal with the person they purchased the property from, so that the contract deal could go ahead.
Another question relating to the 'Graceland'
Property, has some of the property, land been sold to developer's? for land devision to create suburbs near and around Elvis's home 'Gracelsnd'?
Reason for this question, after Elvis returned from his time in the army, his Dad married Dee Stanley, so it was appropriate for Vernon and Dee and her sons, to move into the house that was built, or due to land development, Vernon's house ended up outside of 'Graceland'. ,?

Yes, that rumor is ridiculous. I've heard that all my life. People will put pictures up and say this person looks like him and he's living on some tropical island. I never met Elvis, but I believe there is no way he would have put his family and especially Lisa Marie through that kind of grief to fake his death. Apparently some people just want attention themselves and 20 minutes of fame to claim anything like that. It's sad.

I 100% agree with you and your family that Elvis passed on 08/16/1977. And totally understand and sympathize with you all how hurtful to hear all this stuff is for your family . On the subject of Elvis fathering other children other than Lisa Marie ? All I can say that this has been challenged several times on some occasions and EPE has been asked to provide Elvis DNA samples , but ignored the request for such and declined to do so , so go figure ? Case and point is the battle between Hank Williams Jr. and Jet Williams ! Until DNA proves other , anything is possible !
