I love this one so much. As much as I like Alex's soft side and even being vulnerable with his emotions, he is such a bad ass. He takes his dad down with one good leg and his crutch. Then he must have dragged him into the bunker by himself. I even like it the couple of times he gets tough with Michael. And Tyler plays the range so well.

Then I guess I have the honor for the first comment:
I'm always happy when someone doesn't see Alex as the faint, tender victim who has to be rescued by Michael. He's just as much a fighter and no less smart.
Unfortunately, the show tends to forget that just because he doesn't have superpowers and is constantly being threatened or kidnapped.

@@kcfanvids8641 I'm working on something. There were a few points that bothered me about S4 and that's why I'm thinking of rewriting it. For example, Alex (considering Tyler's back injury) should at least make reasonable sense and be allowed to use his abilities.
I currently have something else Malex-related that needs to be completed, but that will fit the original storyline just as much as my new one.
But since this won't be a 3,000-word work, it will take time. My last chapter alone had more than 12,000 words.

      @@appletinitwoappletinis7249 Have you completed this?
It wasn't just his back injury that kept him off set, the physical issues created some mental health issues as well. It was generous and extremely loving of the company and fellow cast mates to give him time to heal and feel ready to return. I too missed Alex but sometimes you just have to take time for you. 😊

@@jordanparker657 I struggled with many health problems myself and still do.
Unfortunately, I had the feeling that stories that were completely out of character resonated much better with readers than those that really fit the original characters. There, with a frail, suicidal Alex in need of help and an almost mothering, over-masculine Michael, there was a hail of feedback. But for me... I could be lucky if a single Kudo found its way to me.
These stories above with lots of reviews just build the picture that many girls have in their heads about their own relationships. You are broken yourself and want a loving male protector. But the relationship between Alex and Michael wasn't like that, and that's not how most relationships between men are in general. no one seemed to care. So I stopped.
What I find shocking is that the entire book section is FULL of them and is selling like crazy, from the impression described above. I don't know what's going wrong. Why does it always take this extremely manly/dominant part and this fragile, almost suicidal part that these women read like crazy?
So I canceled it. It hurt because I had so many ideas, but if no one is interested, who am I writing for? They just want the thousandth small Alex big Michael story that ends in a 50 Shades. And they push each other to do it.
Instead I published a book (Vol. 1) at the big A, with characters similar to the real people. Names changed a bit of course and everything. Story takes place in LA, this time Tyler can be supernatural as a demon (incubus), Michael can let his caotic fun side run wild, etc.
Only it's in my native language, so it probably won't be of much use to you. :(

I always felt they showed how strong and brilliant Alex is. He was the emotional rock in the relationship and handled Michael in a beautifully loving way. Their season of friendship really added to the narrative. Loved it. 😊

@@jordanparker657 yes! Although I wished we got more scenes with him in the show, since I think showing him in action / fighting scenes could really benefit the story, I do agree with you, though.
