I remember competing in the 2017 Halo Championships and even that took such a mental toll on my, mentally and emotionally draining for sure. I ended up taking 8 months off from gaming after that because once I tried hopping on my mind just wasn’t having “fun” so mad respect to you for choosing your family and your mental state first bro🔥

I get why colt is taking a break. Mw2 wasn't built with competitive integrity as one of its corners stones, its made for hardcore military fans with cinematic mechanics (tac sprint, ledge hang, bullet drop, tactical movement, ammo types). It took more inspirations from PuBG and Tarkov, rather than the top competitive shooters like Overwatch (same publisher btw). Cod at its soul is an Arcade shooter, not a digital war simulator, they should have figured that out after the success of Bo3. All we can hope is sledgehammer recognizes the popularity around xdefiant and focuses on gameplay rather than graphics, textures and immersion.
If these COD companies keep going in the direction they are I could see the competitive/CDL community transition to XDefiant simply because it seems like through the closed beta everything was well designed in all aspects
@@CODCritic101 I don’t know with XDefiant having old COD devs and my personal opinion of how the beta went and how everyone else thinks it went I think if Activision doesn’t step up and start giving a shit people aren’t going to play anymore I can’t even load into rabies without facing a cheater Richochet is a joke Activision cares more about money and realism then anything else and their new title is another MW title (MW III) which to me tells me that their running out of ideas and are in a rinse and repeat and another thing if Ubisoft is so trash why is R6 popular and if their so trash why does their Antichrist actually work see to me Activision only really cares about the “average person/player” and do not care about the competitive side of things and it’s integrity obviously leading to the massive decline in online activity across the board playing the XDefiant beta and seeing that the communities feedback was heard was huge and I think when that comes out it’s going to be a huge hit to Activision’s pocket and if it stays as good as it was in the beta I won’t be touching another minute if COD until things change
