Brilliant one xx It does take time I'm still working with my 5 Yr old good days then bad ones but he's slowly getting better I've been using your methods and it works he just loves to skip back to the bolshy days if you don't keep on top of things I truly hope he comes round he's a lovely boy but I won't give up . Thanks Steve for your help and advice xx 😊
Not a dry eye in the house!! ...🥲🥲😍. Please people just listen, watch this. Learn how to read horses. Learn their language. ( Don't beat the ***** out them!! It doesn't work long term.) Long may you Steve and family continue to make video's. Many thanks 🙏🐎
Another lost pony/horse rescued from their agitated, dark, existence!!! Fantastic job Steve……….and great filming Tanya! 😉 Happy Trails y’all from Northern California!!!
Brilliant … love the updates after all is said and done. I do recall this VLOG about feral pony, Bolt. It was amazing with what you were able to do with him on this one visit. One would not had guessed you that you would have gotten that far with him, by his initial behaviours. So glad he’s leading a more normal life! Must be so rewarding the help you’ve provided to so many horses/owners and handlers, over the years. Happy Trails! 🙏🙌✝️❤️🇨🇦
I found you Steve, in 2010 ish when I first stated looking at UTube.... I love horses....You have given s A LOT of horses a new lease on life and their owners they heart back..... A BIG TIME THANK YOU DARLING MAN...... Blessings darlings from Granny Linda in OZ......
I had to go back and look at the original video….WOW what a difference! I know Steve gave that pony the start he needed…but also hats off to the owner who “took the baton and ran with it”. Respect💕
Unbelievable! I thought this pony would quickly wear out his welcome after Vicky had spent so much time with him, patiently trying to gentle him. I figured Steve would be Vicky’s last hope, and thankfully for Bolt, Vicky’s quite remarkable perseverance when dealing with such a reactive pony, and Steve’s usual bag of tricks, both aided in Bolt’s transformation.
THIS is why i know Steve is special... as much expertise as i have in behavior, i could Not recognize that it was safe to let the pony turn his backside to him 2x without Steve reacting or being really concerned. It's obvious that Steve's reading of body language is beyond normal humans. 😜 ❤
I watched the original video a few times. It didn't take Bolt too long to figure out that he and Steve could communicate, and that he could feel safe with Steve. His emotions and thoughts were right there on his face and in his body. So nice to see how well he's doing.
Steve you make it look so easy. You’re truly unfazed. Calm as a cucumber. Lovely little pony. So glad you were able to help him. He seems very happy now 🩵
That guy would make a good pulling pony, do you have pulling competition over there? I think the hard part would be finding one to put aside of him. Also with a little training I think he would be good working in the log woods.
Another of your success stories Steve. Initially with him kicking & biting, i don't know that i would have gone in the stable without at least a boinging stick. Also i thought for sure you would do some lowering of his head. Bolt has gone from little bugger bolt, to little beauty bolt. Both lady & horse now in a happy place.
--Steve you are an absolute living legend ... have always been truly amazed at how you can achieve significant results even in a confined stable space (this horse stuck in that stable for 6 months? wow, just wow) while many other trainers need a big round pen.
I know you won't like this, but in my mind I call you the "magic man." Yes, I know it's not magic ... it's your deep knowledge of horse nature and gentle training techniques that result in this seemingly "magical" transformation. I simply love your videos and how you have helped so many people be able to deal with their horses with issues. Thank you.
Whenever I feel that the world is crazy and out of control with wild insanity, I just watch one of Steve’s videos to see that with the right approach, persistence and patience anything is possible! Seeing how Steve showed Bolt that he could trust humans just melts my heart. What a wonderful thing to see! ❤
You never disappoint, Steve. You always deliver kind and excellent results. You are awesome in the true sense of that word. Thank you for all you do for horses :)
One thing I don't understand. If i understood the story this is a ferral pony, living in the mountains. What was the reason he needs to live with people? Why couldn't he stay a ferral pony? Something we have to cherise: the wild horses that are left us in this world. Can you explain that to me? He looks happy now, but will he ever be really happy in a stable, surrounded by humans?
Sorry to be so dense, but am not knowledgeable about UK ponies. Is this pony a distinct wild breed, or just a pony that no one ever gentled? I know the UK has lots of distinct breeds of wild ponies. TIA if anyone has an answer ! ❤ equines !!!!
"And he absolutely loves life." That's everything we could hope for him. How lovely.
Awesome job again Steve. Love the updates on how people and their horses are doing once you have helped.
Soooo good to see Bolts progress 🙌🙌
Well done Vicki. You're a champion 🏆

This gives me hope for the 4 horses i have that i can't touch
Let us know how you do! Steve’s timing with pressure release seems to be the main key! May it go well and you find that excellent timing too.
@@louisegogel7973 thank you

Magic man again.
You’re right it’s magic, like watching a magician, his experience, patience and timing has incredible results. 👏
Made my day. From frightened to calm and happy.
SUPERB! Love that. Bolt has filled out too and looking FABULOUS! Well, well done All

Awesome job, what a beautiful pony he turned out😊😊😊
Love watching you work your magic with difficult and dangerous horses.💜😊💜

me too!!! Love a bit of SYH end of day, it's my go to. This one is particularly helpful, as I've just taken on a couple of rather feral mini's.
They give you two eyes, you immediately drop your eyes which gives them relief.
Lovely to see the update on this little pony. What a difference
