Ray-I'll explain it to you. Snow was slinging her own CD's back in the day. Got noticed by Atlantic. Signed. They didn't want to put her music out. She had to fight to get rights to some stuff she wrote or put out under them. She said fuck it, stayed independent after that. Made something from the ground up with her brother Ito, and a few select other people in her life. There's been some rumors Atlantic had her ghost writing for Cardi. She has said there's no bad blood. Just went her own way. Now, she does her own shit, videos, songs, merch, tours...etc. She takes care of her people and they take care of her. But to answer the questions about awards, much like Ryan Upchurch, she's snubbed for doing it herself. Think about it, you don't see Church, Snow, Adam Calhoun, Tom McDonald in the mainstream, even though we support them enough for them to all be mainstream. They aren't "yes" people, so they get the shaft. It's a damn shame too.

Honestly I've always firmly believed that at almost every single corner in her career she has been black balled here In the states to prevent her going mainstream. My belief about why this is is due to the fact she's a female rapper that doesn't show her body off in barely there outfits and she doesn't talk about how good she is in bed she doesn't support this agenda that they've pushed onto other female rappers like Megan Nicki cardi doja she doesn't represent the hyper sexualized culture that has been forced onto to us. She raps about real life real experiences real pain that is why they will forever stop her bag.
